Puppy Emergency - Healthy Paws to the Rescue

We had our little (8 lb) Fox Terrier (Jax) since he was 8 weeks. When he was just 7 month he came up lame one night and we were scared - took him to the animal ER - it turns out he slightly dislocated his knee. The ER Visit and follow day Vet Visit hit the $800 mark - Put the super kind people at Healthy Paws came to the rescue - they review the cases, called with a few questions - and zoom, our claims were processed with a few days... and Jax is running around like all puppies should - happy and healthy (paws) !!

Excellent customer service! Quicker than thought

I was first told this claim would take 25 days which was disappointing. Yet, it only took about a week. I was impressed by the constant updates regarding my claim. I will and have recommended this insurance to others. Thank you!

Responsive & Helpful

For the past 3 years, I have had my pet insured through Embrace. I like the peace of mind in knowing that if an illness of injury occurs, I can have it treated without hesitation and not be hindered by the expense. I have found the claims specialists, for the most part, to be knowlegeable and helpful when advising me about how to best utilize my coverage and Wellness Policy so that expenses will be covered. I also appreciate the claim updates I receive so that I know my submitted bills are "in process" and the direct deposit option is very handy and convenient.

Petsecure has been a great help

I have had Petsecure for my 6 year old Brittany Spaniel and he has been insured since birth. Recently, he had a whole host of difficulties including some very expensive treatments and diagnostics including a MRI and a sampling of his brain fluid. At any rate, he was diagnosed with Episodic Epilepsy. Petsecure has consistently been helpful and I have not had any problems with them paying out claims. Their web portal is decent and they process claims at a reasonable rate. I've had to call the 800 number before and they were excellent there as well. My deductible is $300 / year currently and I pay about $57 a month at 6 years of age.

Simple, and fast return on claim.

We were at the farm with our three dogs, as usual, when one of our horses spooked and jumped. Our 14&1/2 year old Belgian Malinois (Zorro) was nearby and our spooked horse tripped over his foot (slightly) and caused a skin avulsion. Thankfully it wasn't worse - but we took him to the vet and got him patched up at the Emergency Clinic. Next day I filed my claim and within a week or so we received the check. Much faster than I anticipated! Quick and painless claim... Zorro is doing well and his wound healed over and we can't even tell there was anything ever there.

Good start

I recently purchased a policy for my 1 year old labradoodle. I added the Wellness coverage and submitted a claim about a month after I purchased the coverage. The claim was paid very quickly, with no questions asked. I was very pleased.

Embrace is a great company

Our little girl Molly had an ear infection recently. When I sent all her paperwork there was a problem with the claim because her insurance listed a prior condition. I sent one email with a question and everything was fixed and Embrace paid the claim. Embrace gets right back to you and keeps you informed of the process. Our family has had Embrace for 5 years now and when our kids get sick we never have to worry about the type of care they need because we have Embrace to help us with the costs. Anyone who is thinking of getting a furry kid should look into Embrace right after they adopt their furry one.

I continue to LOVE Pet's Best Insurance

My 12-year-old Shih Tsu had a soft tissue sarcoma skin cancer. He had surgery to remove it and had complications from the surgery: intestinal disorder and a urinary tract infection. Pet's Best, as usual, paid up to the max on the claim and they are SO FAST about processing the claim. Claim faxed in on Thursday, and paid on Tuesday, with email notifications as to their progress on the claim. So easy! I just really LOVE this company and their service! I have older dogs and multiple claims, and they always come through for me. Without them, I would be paying thousands of dollars in vet bills. They really give me peace of mind. Wish my own insurance was this good!! Two thumbs up for Pet's Best!!

Got the help I needed FAST

I have had insurance on my dog, Honey, since I got her at 8 mos. She was diagnosed with epilepsy and had many visits for bloodwork, an MRI, and a spinal tap for her diagnosis. The total of which cost about $4,000. With Trupanion I paid only a small amount of that. After I paid for everything in full and sent the forms into Trupanion I had sevreral reimbursement checks within a week. They reimbursed 90% after I reached my deductible. I would not have been able to take care of Honey without that reimbursement. Thank goodness her epilepsy does not require medication, however if she did we'd it, Trupanion would cover 90% of the cost because I have already hit her lifetime deductible for that issue. The only downside I would say is that they dont cover any exam fees, I think they should cover a pcentage after the deductible, not necessarily 90%, maybe 20-30%. Sometimes that little bit of coverage can mean a lot!
