I signed up for direct deposit and started submitting my claims online. On my dog's last issue at the vet, I submitted my claim on Friday and the reimbursement was in my account the following Monday. Now that's fast!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance contacted me immediately after receiving my claim and kept in contact while processing it. I received payment within 2 weeks of filing my claim. And they are so nice. I wish my insurance was as good as my dog's!

I dont know what we would have done without Healthy Paws. Our little dog Charlie has had severe allergies for the last few months and without Healthy Paws, we would have never been able to afford all her medical care. Healthy Paws has not only paid 90% of all her medical coverage, but they have also been incredibly kind and supportive, and very timely with our reimbursements throughout this whole process. Having to get medical care for a beloved dog is tough, emotionally and financially...but having good affordable health insurance gives you a peace of mind through the tough times. My 18 month old Lab mix fractured a canine tooth while home alone in her wire crate. We think she caught her mouth in the wires under the door, got stuck and then broke her tooth at the gum line trying to free herself. The veterinary dentist said hers was classic dental fracture from a crate. We have used wire crates for the past 15 years with many dogs--but no more wire crates for us!Healthy Paws was excellent. This was my first claim for the 2 dogs I have insured. The were very helpful, responded same day to my claims and I received their check 6 days after Hazel's tooth extraction. They even sent a e-mail a week later to see how Hazel is doing. I am really impressed with their service! I'm one very happy customer!!

We have had PetsHealth Insurance for all of our dogs. Not so much for the normal vet expenses -- in fact I frequently don't think to file a claim for those -- but as an aid for any accident or extreme illnesses. We had such an incident recently when 14 year old Belle Lune developed Vestibular Syndrome while she was being at the Vet's. She was treated in those initial stages with IV fluids and with antibiotics. Belle is now home and as recovered as she is going to be. Still can't manage stairs, but otherwise navigates fairly well. I put in the claim along with all requested records and received an email that informed us that everything had been received and that we would be receiving a check soon. and it took about two weeks which is a vast improvement over previous claim settlements.

NOW I know why it's named PETS BEST! Could also be called PET OWNERS BEST! I have had Pets Best insurance for 4 years for my dog Mickey, but had never filed a claim. I purchased it more for catastrophic illness than mundane problems. I contacted them re: price hike if I were to file a claim. I was afraid that the premium would go up quickly if I used the insurance, as it does with car insurance! (After 2 glass claims in 2 years, my premium was raised and my glass coverage dropped!) However, with the economy what it is, and my only income is my SS, a recent bill (which included blood work) was $480! Turned out to be just gastritis. I decided to file a claim...downloaded the online claim form, had the vet enter the diagnosis, and faxed it to Pets Best- not expecting much. A super quick and easy process. I received immediate comfirmatin that they received the claim and were processing it. Two days later, I got an email with an EOB showing a reimbursement of $304!! I had it deposited directly into my checking account. Now, I am 68 years old, usually find stuff like this to be terribly complicated and time consuming, but this could not have been easier! The service was fast and easy. Couldn't ask for more! I would recommend Pets Best to any dog or cat owner! I hope I never have to use their service again, but it's comforting to know that they are there to help if it becomes necessary!

I can't tell you how pleasantly surprised I've been with the wonderful customer service. The people are all very nice and are willing to work with you. I highly recommend them.

Premiums have increased dramatically for my dog even with almost no claims. Service and claims were more prompt three years ago. Then the process is so manual it is obviously a contributor to the cost of the coverage. Should be able to fax email in claim and have payment processed more quickly and deposited automatically to a bank account.

what i was told when i purchased the insurance was different to what i got. i was smacked with a huge hidden cost. the whole 90% coverage is not really 90%. it's 90% of the subtotal. Also, if your animals condition requires followups those followups are not covered either. i was told the initial exam was covered but all subsequent exams would be. apparently they changed their mind. i had to complain and they did sort it out as a one time courtesy, but they still didn't admit any wrong doing or misrepresentation.

This is the best peace of mind for your pet. I bring a form with me whenever I go to the vet, then scan it and email it to Embrace and they take care of the rest. The Wellness plan is basically "free" money! Customer service is friendly and their responses and processing is pretty quick. All in all a great company. I have been using them for over a year and my sister has been using Embrace for her 2 dogs for several years now.
