Positive experience
So far I have only had normal yearly exams and Ebrace handled things very professionally and have been very friendly, the only minor complaint I have is that it took about 3 weeks to process other than that I am glad I chose Embrace.

So glad we picked Healthy Paws!
We decided to get pet insurance as soon as we got our puppy Hotch. We looked around, made comparisons and felt Healthy Paws was the best. 9 months after having it in place, our beloved baby got severely sick. This was 2 weeks ago. He started acting VERY different and you could see he wasn't feeling well in his eyes. His nose felt warmer than usual, and was dripping more than normal. Finally I went to hug him in the morning and he yelped. We immediately rushed him to the vet. He in fact had a fever and his white blood cell count was exceptionally low. They had to keep him to run tests and give him fluids through IV for 2 days. It was the worst experience ever because he has never been sick or had any issues. Needless to say, the vet bill was astronomical. My husband and I definitely could not afford these costs on our own. It is now not even a week since the claim was sent and I have already received confirmation that the claim was accepted and there is a check in the mail. I am completely blown away. This is better than human insurance! They were also available by phone to help me with the process, and communication was constant, prompt, and most importantly friendly. I can feel they care through the messages. From all the horror stories I have heard, and my own experience, I can honestly say that they are the BEST. Thank you so much Healthy Paws, we cannot thank you enough.

Healthy Paws, The Best!!
Our one year old lab underwent abdominal surgery due to a possible foreign body obstruction. After 2 visits, xrays and ultrasounds it was determined that she needed the surgery. Turns out she had ingested the small head of a stuffed dog toy which had become lodged in the small intestine. She did very well and was home the following night after the surgery. I nearly required CPR after seeing the costs for the visits, the surgery, tests and associated fees. Healthy Paws was amazing!! Claims were processed immediately and in less than 2 weeks I had the reimbursement checks in hand. I paid my $250.00 deductible and the office visit fee and the rest was reimbursed at 90% as per my policy. If only our health care plans could be so efficient and straight forward. The customer service staff is caring and genuine. Always inquiring about the status of our dog. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws. We used another insurance company for our other dogs in the past and there were always exclusions and hidden surprises that were not covered. Thank you to Healthy Paws for making a very sad and scary situation much less of a financial burden than we had originally thought.

Top Notch
My Aussie had a bowel obstruction that required iV's and hospitalization. Did I mention this happened on Labor Day? Healthy Paws called me that day to help me & they paid my claim quickly. Also asked how Bailey was doing one week later. Bravo!

Worth the wait
I put in my first claim, and although it was a bit of a nerve racking wait, I was pleased they paid what the said they would. I had insurance for years with another company that was good to me, so changing was a bit of a risk, especially since I have 4 dogs on insurance. I had heard good things, so I changed. Now I need to tell all my friends who don't have insurance, that maybe they should consider EMBRACE.

Paid but took longer than was promised
I am pleased that our claim was paid to full amount that was allowed , but it took a good bit longer due to a change over to a new system. To their credit, they did keep up by e-mails as to the fact that the claim was not forgotten but I would have liked to have seen the claim completed faster. In the future, I hope this is the case as they told me they were hiring more claims adjusters to handle the overload.

Healthy Paws Insurance is amazing!
I hardly ever rate services and products, but Healthy Paws Insurance definitely earned a 5-stars rating. My dog turned a year old and I decided to get her insurance to make sure we're covered in any case of illness/injury. September came and I had to take her to the ER Pet Clinic in the middle of the night for help due to non-stop vomiting and diarrhea. At one point, the ER Vet said she may need surgery since she suspected blockage in the stomache area. I wasn't sure how the reimbursement worked, I could only hope that it was an easy and speedy process for the vet fees I paid. Within 1 day of sending in my claim for reimbursement, I received an email stating it was processed and within 1 week I received the reimbursement email and later a check in the mail. It was so relieving to know that I have a solid pet insurance policy that helps me care for my pet and not be afraid of vet bills. I am so thankful that Healthy Paws stand by their mission and their staff are so dedicated in every step of the process. If they could be awarded an award, I'd have to say it would be Amazing Customer Service!

Excellent Service
I recently brought my 4 month old puppy in to the animal emergency hospital on a Sunday (my vet was closed) due to vomiting. When I left the hospital, I realized what a great move it was to purchase pet insurance after viewing the bill. I submitted the simply claim form with a copy of the invoice. Within a few days I had received word via email that my claim had been processed and that a check was cut. I received my check already, and its only been 8 days since I submitted the claim from the hospital visit! Couldn't ask for a better turnaround time. Healthy Paws covered what they said they would, and the process of reimbursement was quick and painless. Highly recommend this company for all of your pet insurance needs.
One thing that drew me to this company was that their policy period is continuous, whereas other company's renew yearly. The problem with annual renewals is that anything your pet experienced before renewal will be considered "pre-existing" on your new annual policy, therefore you will be blacked out from coverage. I'm so glad I found a company who doesn't practice this policy, because if your pet got sick or injured towards the end of your policy and isn't back to 100%, I'm afraid you'd be stuck with the bill because any other insurance company would consider it a pre-existing condition. I'm grateful Healthy Paws understands this flaw in most pet insurances, and found a way to offer solid insurance at an affordable price.

Toe Digit removed-injured claws kept growing back
The vet diagnosed that because of a past injury that our dog would keep growing a "damaged" (fragile) tone nail that would keep breaking and require operations to remove the damaged toe nail about every 2 months (at $300 a visit). We had the last digit of that toe removed and now Jewel is happy and has no issues!
