Rate increase after 12 months
I'm very disappointed, I have had my two greyhounds insured with Healthy Paws for almost a year and I have never made a claim for either of them. I switched from Trupanion as they wanted to raise their rates by 33% each (again, never needed to make a claim with them). I was in contact with a Healthy Paws representative who indicated that they would typically only raise rates in the 5 - 7% range for each hound. That seemed reasonable. This week I received an email from Healthy Paws indicating that each dog would receive a rate increase of 14%.
I am extremely disappointed with Healthy Paws

Very satisfied with them!
I've had insurance on my dog for over two years and have had little to no problems with any of the claims I've submitted. I would like to see any changes you make to enhance your insurance take affect immediately instead of waiting for the next policy renewal.

Great Company and Program
After having 2 dogs who lived with expensive medical conditions (and horrific vet bills), as we got our 3rd dog I decided it was time to get Pet Insurance. After much online research, I choose Embrace - and after only 3.5 months I know without doubt I choose the best pet insurance company possible. In addition to illness and accident insurance, I also purchased Embrace's fantastic Wellness Rewards program. For an additional premium of $300, I have already been reimbursed for the full annual coverage of wellness items - $400. It's an extensive list that covers wellness exams, vaccines, heartworm medications, spay/neuter, prescription dog food, and more.
I can't say enough about Embrace, their excellent communications (emails as soon as they receive a claim; an update while it is being processed; and a follow up after the check is mailed) and their outstanding service. I recommend this company to anyone with a pet.

MNikki the Peke, Cushings, and Embrace
Nikki under went a series of tests. She was not feeling well...but had all the symptoms of Cushings. With an ultrasound, blood work, ACTH, xrays the bill became large quickly. With Embrace i could go home with Nikki and worry about her...not a huge credit card bill. Thanks to embrace. They paid the bill 100 percent less deductible. There was no quibbling over it. Embrace keeps you informed of the status of the claim! The people are great working with. Embrace seems to be the insurance plan to go with. No problems at all. My dogs are everything to me. Embrace is not cheap....but neither is health care. With embrace, you get what you pay for: honesty, responsiveness, caring. And peace of mind.

Best service!
In the summer, our cat was in acute kidney failure. Nearly a week in the emergency hospital and $3,000 later, we took her home with chronic kidney disease. Trupanion quickly fulfilled everything they promised in her policy, making the process of claims and reimbursement completely painless.
Now, our cat has ongoing treatment for her chronic kidney disease - which Trupanion is continuing to pay for without any difficulty. Their claims are processed very quickly - faxed one day, direct deposit practically the next. And even when we were worried when the official diagnosis changed - from acute kidney injury to chronic kidney disease - where other insurance companies might use it as an excuse to reset the deductible, Trupanion didn't blink an eye.
We insure both our dog and cat with Trupanion, and will continue to do so with them, and all of our future pets.

Very Satisfied
We initiated the insurance a the end of Man 2012. Two weeks later our dog was spayed and the insurance paid the appropriate portion without question. Less than two weeks later, our dog broke her leg requiring the specialty services of an orthopedic surgeon. The bill was surprisingly high yet ASPC paid their portion quickly and without question.Considering that they had only collected TWO months premium from us and paid out 14 times that amount without any comment, by comparison with auto insurance it was refreshing and very pleasant experience.
I would recommend the Level 3 policy for new puppies without hesitation.

Best Pests Insurance is the best
My Cat was in the Vet Hospital for 2 days. I submitted my claim and had a check in 8 days. The people I spoke to were very nice and explained everything to me. I wish my insurance company were as nice and prompt as Best Pets.

We LOVE Embrace!!!
I encourage all pet owners to get Embrace! You really don't think about it when your pet is healthy, but once something happens, you will be so grateful that you have it. Not only did Embrace come in handy when my dog had some minor issues over the winter (simple blood tests, but still costly), but when we got my dog's cancer diagnosis over the summer, all I could say over and over again was "Thank goodness we have insurance"! If we didn't have it, there would simply be no way that I could have been able to afford any of my dog's treatments, and we would be fighting a losing battle. Because of Embrace's awesome cancer coverage, as well as their coverage of holistic therapies (something we strongly believe in to support his other cancer treatments, which many insurance companies do not cover), we know that we can explore all of the treatment options that are available to us, and get my dog the best possible care. I've had to call a couple of times with some questions, and the customer service has been AMAZING each time. Super helpful, friendly, and exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend this company enough. I admit that there were times that I almost dropped his insurance because times were tough and my dog was healthy, but now, I am so happy that we kept it. That small monthly premium is nothing when you are faced with huge vet bills to care for your dog, and the peace of mind knowing that you can afford to give your pet the best care-totally worth it! It's hard for pet

Thank you, Healthy Paws !!!,
We have a 10 year old American Eskimo named Snuggy who has been in great health and extremely low maintenance ….. Till this year when he injured his leg with bills around $200. Being that I have some insurance background, I decided to look into some pet health insurance. Just to be safe. I researched several plans and compared about 8 insurance plans on various criteria regarding monthly premiums, co-insurance, type of coverage’s, exclusions, policy limits etc. Based on my research I decided to go with Healthy Paws since they offered the best value for a full service health plan especially for an older dog!.... I wished us humans could get this type of value!!!! Just about a month into the plan Snuggy managed to get in more trouble by developing an eye problem He was diagnosed with lens luxiation (similar to human cataract). I figured some ointment and a couple of days rest that he would be just fine. Also, I figured on the high side it may cost a couple of hundred dollars. To my surprise our Vet indicated that he would need eye surgery performed by a specialized eye surgeon. So I decided to visit Eye Care for Animals which is a large Ophthalmology Practice with locations all over the US. They examined my dog about ½ hour and presented me with an estimate for about $3500, ouch! I naturally wanted to get a second opinion and opted out. Well they still presented me with a bill for about $500 which I had no choice but to pay. After some calling around I finally found a goo
