Quick results and great communication
Since starting early this Summer with Embrace, we have had only positive interactions. My recently adopted pup decided to fetch a stick out of a wood pile and received a shard of wood in his eye. After several visits to the vet, his eye is now healed and I promptly received communication and the final reimbursement for this claim. If there were any issues, I had email communication immediately. I am very pleased thus far.

I am very impressed with Trupanion.
When I got my puppy I wanted pet insurance. My prior dog had died of cancer so I knew that pretty much anything medically you could do for a human you could do for a dog. Put in a similar situation,I did not want to have to make medical decisions based on my ability to pay for care. Enter pet insurance. It is not cheap to have but it is a great safety net. My vet recommended Trupanion based on her experience with pet insurance companies. That influenced my choice but I also did a lot of independent research before deciding on Trupanion. I could not be happier with Trupanion. They have covered illness and accidents (life with a busy puppy). Any time I have called with a question there has been a knowledgeable person on the other end of the phone line. One time they rejected a claim. My vet wrote an appeal explaining why their analysis was incorrect. The claim was reviewed and they accepted the claim. I recommend Trupanion with no reservations.

KIKI is so mUch Better
My dog KIKI had knee surgery and it cost $5,000.00+ Embrace paid 90% then the plate in her knee got infected and they paid another 90% of the $3,000.00 claim 6 months later . In the end Embrace paid out over $8,000. They covered 90% of the claim minus the $100 deductible, exactly as promised. The company did not try to weasel out of the claim and handled the claim with integrity, following through on everything that was promised before I signed up. Furthermore, they did not drop me as a client and sent me an e-mail about renewing my policy while all of this was going on.
I have definitely become a walking advertisement for Embrace. It is rare to find companies that actually do as promised and when I find one, I definitely like to spread the word.

Real Life Experience
We decided to get pet insurance when we adopted our 3 month old puppy, Barkley. Friends and family laughed at me.But, did you know puppies put their heads into everything-caused a $500 eye infection. You should have seen Healthy Paws in action, ouro first claim handled beautifully.
Then, Barkley was diagnosed at 8 months with hip displaysia, very unusual for a puppy. While the policy only covered this once after 1 year, I was amazed it covered it at all (most don't).
Subsequent to the surgery, Barkley got a serious urinary track infection and has been to the ER twice and Hospitalized once, then to our local vet because he stopped eating and drinking.
Again, Healthy Paws customer service and concern for Barkley has been fantastic. Quick response time and Healthy Paws does what they say they will do, and cover exactly what you would expect.
We are hoping that this is the last of any major expenses for such a young pup, but now my family and friends are looking at Healthy Paws for their pets!

Large claim promptly and fully covered.
My dog was attacked by another at the dog park, and had her stomach ripped open, which required a 90 minute surgery at the emergency hospital. The total bill was over $3500. Embrace approved my claim in a couple of weeks, and covered everything minus deductible/copay. I am very happy with Embrace!
