Losey

I used to tell all my patients to get trupanion ins for there pets, after my golden retriever had trouble getting up stairs I took her in for exam and xrays turns out she has hip dysplasia. I submitted bill and it is over 30 days and keep being told in review. My golden got very sick within 2days and they have only paid 2 claims as of yet. They say never received claim. So they lost claim and don't want to pay on claim for diagnosis of hip dysplasia I feel they are stalling and will come up with an excuse to not pay because they think I new about it because I was giving her pain meds said no record of being prescribed but her oncologist told me okay to give. All in all very frustrated with trupanion .

Healthy Paws-Excellence Found

I took out a policy on a labrador retriever puppy in June of 2011. About six months later he was diagnosed with Entropian Lower Eyelids. I had to take him into the Opthamoligist 4 times for re-tacking procedures and finally the time came for surgery. Over a six months period I filed multiple claims and each one was paid withing 3 to five days. The folks at Healthy Paws are excellent and very knowledgable folks and try to look for ways not to pay, In fact they advised me on some other things I had not submitted to them and they paid them as well.

Best customer service!

Trupanion is a great company that offers great service. I definitely feel like I have gotten my money's worth, and feel so good that I can give my dog the best health care because now, with Trupanion's help, money is not much of an issue.

Personal, professional, no hassle service

My three year old Dalmatian mix has been through two fairly expensive TPLO knee surgeries in the last year and a half. Both claims I submitted to Embrace were dealt in about four weeks, with no problems and they kept me up to date with the progress of my claim with the occasional email.

Fast, caring service

My basset hound Duke suddenly was acting like he didn't feel well and was in pain, pacing and restlessness. My first thought was bloat so I gave him a gas-x. He seemed to feel some better and lay down but later during the night he was acting in pain again. The next day I took him to the vet. His stomach was so tight the vet couldn't even feel his organs for an exam. He had an xray and bloodwork; the xray came back okay but the bloodwork showed pancreatitus. Duke was put on pain meds and sent home with orders for me to watch him. He was very quiet and I could tell he didn't feel well when he wasn't stealing anything (the boy is a thief). But a couple days later, Duke was feeling much better and back to stealing things and playing with his sister Gracie. I submitted a claim for reimbursement. This was the first; I've only had Duke since December. The vet gave me his records and the only trouble I had was sending the 36 pages but when I called Healthy Paws, I got great advice on how to do it and they even were going to hold on the line while I sent it to make sure it went through but my phone hung up on me. I did it on my own as instructed and received an email the next morning that it was received and it would take up to 10 days but by the time I got home from work and checked my email there was another email that my claim had been processed. I was given a detail of what was covered and the amount I would receive. Within 3 days I received my check. And then to my

Very Fast No Hassle!

We signed up for the insurance plus the Wellness Plan coverage. I took my kitten to get vaccinations, testings and his exam. When we faxed the claim in we got notification right away that they received it and it was in process. We also were able to sign up to have the reimbursed funds directly deposited back into our account. The turn around for getting reimbursed was very fast. Every time I call customer service there is no wait time to speak to an actual person and they are very helpful. Highly recommend Embrace!
