My dog Zoe is 14 months & she had two UTI back to back. I submitted the claims & was told they were gonna review the claims. Waited 6 weeks & called them back & the reply was that this was a chronic disease. How can a puppy with 2 UTI be considered chronic.???? Am very unhappy & discontinued the ins. They had stipulations of 3,500 cap per disease, & I did not get paid anything:( Bad .. Bad ,,, bad

My cat suddenly started vomiting and had the runs. We took him to our vet and got him checked out. There where tests and medications to administer. Later there was a relapse and we had to get more tests done. We submitted our claims and we received a email notification for both its arrival and within a few days, what the reimbursement would cover. I've had this insurance for over 5 years...been paying them hundreds of dollars a year for all that time. They are good in terms of responding to claims, but in my case I paid far more for the insurance than I got back from them (thank God my dog has been healthy). Suddenly they change underwriters and my premiums change from $51 per month to $138 per month. So all these years I've been paying for coverage, now when my dog is older and I really need the coverage, they make the premiums unaffordable. Save your money, put some away each month, and pay for your vet bills yourself. I'd be in a much better position now if I'd done that instead of giving them money for all these years.

Excellent insurance company! My cat has been unlucky the last several months, she got sick in june, then july and then in october she had a little accident, and every time I had to go to the vet's office, Embrace paid the vet's visit amount, no questions asked! I will stay with them as long as I have a pet or pets in my family!

I had gotten pet insurance for my two kittens when we got them two yrs ago. About a yr in found out my tortie comet had stomatitis and needed most of her teeth pulled! It was a hard decision to make but also very pricey. The bill was 1100$ and I got back about 915$ I was elated because that $ was our er fund just incase. Getting pet insurance is the best thing ive done and have recommended many friends to get it as well. Healthy paws cares about animals and they are wonderful!
