Excellent benefits with quick claim reimbursement

My 3 year old dog Scooby had a black growth on her gums on her lower jaw which was covering up 3 of her teeth. I took her to my vet who told me that the growth looked like a condition called Epilus which has three types. 2 are benign and 1 is precancerous which usually invades and degenerates the jaw bone. Our first course of action was to surgically remove the growth, send it in for pathology and take an X-ray of her jaw. This procedure cost us 986.68. We submitted our claim to Healthy Paws the same day as the surgery and immediately got an e-mail requesting the records from our veterinarian. it took them a few days to get Healthy paws the records but once they received them they processed our claim within a few days and sent out a check reimbursing us the following day paying 90% of her surgery. We have a $100 a year deductible which was applied to this claim so we received a check for $712.03. Unfortunately our story does not end there. The x-rays and pathology came back that Scooby did have the pre cancerous Epilus so we were referred to a specialist for yet another surgery. This time they had to do a CT scan on Scooby and remove 3 of her teeth and a section of her jaw bone to stop the spreading of the disease and the degeneration of her bone. She spent one night in the hospital and came home with pain meds, antibiotics and anti inflammatories. This surgery and all the medications cost $4,354.90. The veterinary specialist submitted all the paperwork to Healthy paws along

Unbeleivable!

I just received an email from this great company! What a surprise. They reviewed a claim that I had on my Goldendoodle and her ear infection without my asking and found out they owed me an additional 51.00. Considering I had been with another insurance company prior to switching to Embrace 3 years ago that was a nightmare, this company has the most outstanding service and caring that I cannot say enough. Of all services that we pay for every day, I believe this is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with.

Easy and worth it

My greyhound ran into a pole and tore open his knee. I had gotten insurance for the "just in case" of this very situation. I live in an area that's more expensive than "customary," so the original friend who recommended that I get pet insurance warned me that it would reimburse about half of vet charges in the area. The process to get reimbursed was easier than it is with my human healthcare FSA! I received my check about 2 weeks after I submitted the claim. The grand total at the vet was $480, and I ended up with a check for $240-- just what I expected, and still a financial relief.

Grateful for Embrace!!

I recently had to rush my dog Sadie to the vet and found out she had to have surgery to remove several marble sized bladder stones. Embrace made my experience so much less stressful and was prompt to reinburse all aspects of the terrible experience (vet visit/x rays that discoverd issue, surgery, follow up visits, meds... I would highly recommend Embrace if you love your pet and know how difficult it can be to deal with these situations.

They approved my threes cases at the same day and next day they deposited the money in my bank. They respond so quick and very kind to answer.I didn't have an insurance for my previous dog who past away with a cancer and I'm still paying it's vet bill. Now I'm so relief and secure. Wellness Advantage

I only recently joined ASPCA Pet Insurance and have only used it once for a wellness visit. Was surprised how easy it was to submit a claim. I received a check in the mail which was very helpful since I am a retiree & have 2 other animals. Although you never know when you will need the insurance, I feel that if needed it will be there to help with medical bills.

Great Coverage, quick review and reimbursement

Mugsy, my almost 9 year old boxer (boxer lifespan is 8-10 years) was drinking too much water, not eating much, lethargic for quite some time, groaned when he laid down (thought it was old age!). Took him for checkup and after blood test-high white cell count-and an MRI, vet found a very large mass, possibly cancer, wrapped around his spleen that had apparently been there for a long time! Poor guy! Emergency surgery the next day, vet was candid he may not survive the surgery. Not only did he survive, and with no cancer- it was an abcess, a few days after surgery he was thriving! Running around like a crazy puppy boxer chasing his 3 year old boxer sister, eating ravenously, and being lavish with his kisses. To make it even better, Embrace quickly reviewed the claim and paid immediately. What a relief! It's the reason I have had insurance since Mugsy was 2, just for something like this. Thank you, Embrace!!

Excellent!

I recently submitted my first claim after having Embrace Pet Insurance for the past year. The customer service reps have ALWAYS very courteous, and they continued this positive experience for me by answering all of my questions about the claims process. I also received emailed updates about it as it passed through each department. I received my refund notification in the timeframe that I was given, and the Explanation of Benefits is very clear. This has been the most painless process -- I wish dealing with human medical insurance companies was so easy! Embrace is an incredible company that I highly recommend to anyone!
