I signed up for Embrace based on the reviews here as primary insurance for one dog and secondary for another. The rates were extremely reasonable (almost) half due to their non-breed pricing. The dog with the dual coverage got sick with Embrace as the secondary coverage and they have kept their word as per their policy and supplemented coverage. It did take a bit of nudging to the CEO to move things along, but once I did, everything has gone smoothly. I still especially like their policy of reviewing your pet's records in the first 30 days to ID all preexisting conditions on the record. This way you don't have to worry later about your insurance company coming up with something after the fact.

why do I have pet insurance, if they only cover the initial visit but not the follow-up? Thank you for covering the first visit even though the second visit was not covered.

Embrace Pet Insurance has been a blessing. They have great customer service and really care about your pet. I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has had a rough year. She was diaganosed with Chiaris Malformation through MRI, which was not cheap, but with the Embrace Pet Insurance was manageable. I have had no problems receiving my refunds and the claim forms are so easy.

I was very pleased with the customer service provided on the claim processing...with another claim still to be submitted I'm confident that too will be handled very well. Its a great relief to know the processing is handled so well. I get acknowledgement when the claim is received. Then they let me know it is being reviewed and how long to expect. And it was complete much quicker than expected - less than a week. EOB is easy to read, direct deposit is wonderful. The communication is kind and accurate and timely. Well done - it is appreciated.

We paid only for Vet Exams. All covered costs were paid promtly. Our total Vet bills were close to $6,000 and we were reimbursed for over 83% of our total claims; all within one week of the claim. It was reassuring to know we wouldn't have to borrow money before bills became due for Emergncy Care and Surgery. We considered this "catestrophic" insurance when we bought it; never thinking we would need it. Fortunately we had the insurance when our dog needed it -- Trupanion was there for us every step of the way. They made our ordeal bearable during a very stressful time. As a result of our experience, we have recommended Trupanion to all of our pet-loving friends.

They have been very prompt, friendly and covered 90% of that $3,000 surgery. I went through the pre-approval process and had my check shortly after the surgery. Jake, my dog, had a follow up xray and they even covered that. ***I couldn't praise Trupanion enough.*** The truth is you never know when you are going to need insurance but, you will be thankful to have Trupanion when the time unfortunately comes.
