Once gain, Embrace comes through!
I signed LisaJoy up for Embrace Pet Insurance in late October when I made her a permanent member of the family. She is dog #6 who I have "Embraced." In early December, when she was just 11.5 months old, I experienced the most horrifying experience of my life when her throat and tongue swelled rapidly due to a hematoma (internal bleeding.) The hematoma got so big it cut off her airway! I rushed her to my local vet, less than a mile away. They were able to do an emergency tracheotomy to re-establish her airway, and then referred me to the Emergency vet an hour away. From there, they sent me to the specialist hospital, Tufts University, 3 hours away. Throughout each step of this terrifying process, I was able to focus solely on my puppy and getting her the care she needed in order to survive, because I knew Embrace would be behind me 100% to help on the financial end of things. Sure enough, the claims process was simple and straightforward, the representatives were courteous and helpful, and the claim was processed very quickly, even over the holidays.

Embrace has been great past 4 years
Renewed my dog's Wellness Policy for another year because they have proven to reimburse quickly. I have not had any problems in 4 years. Sad the Dental is no longer a part of the Wellness.

Emergency Visit Coverage
As was expected, having insurance for Dexter has already paid for itself many times over. Getting hit with a large bill by an emergency vet during the holiday season is never fun, but it was nice to know that Healthy Paws was behind me and would be covering a majority of the costs. It is always a no brainier to get your pet the best care you can, but it gives you peace of mind when they are there to take off some of that burden. That mixed with some great followup emails to make sure that my little man was doing well and happy again was a nice touch. After having considered a number of insurance providers, I am glad to have made my choice with Healthy Paws.

Fast Response
I am pleased with the fast response from Trupanion. It really helps when there are larger vet bills.

Wonderful Company!!!
As a Professional Dog Trainer, I have heard many comments from clients regarding the Pet Insurance companies they have tried. I tried this one based on one of my clients. My clients are waiting for my review of the company after using up my deductible. Wow! My 11 month old Saint Berdoodle developed a nasty cough and runny nose the day before we were to fly to another state. I had to take him to the emergency vet on Dec 23. Healthy Paws was notified on Dec 24 and had a check in the mail for reimbursement on Dec 26! This is an awesome affordable company.

Awesome!
Our poor pup broke his front paw and needed surgery. He had to stay 2 nights in the ICU. We were so scared as this was the first time he had a medical problem. We were so glad we had Healthy Paws Insurance, I did not even hear what the Vet said the cost was, because I knew we had good insurance and it was covered. We just wanted our buddy to have the best care possible, and knew we didn't have to worry about the cost. We have the $250 deductible, 90% coverage plan. After his final visit, I sent in the claim and it took a few days to process. Everything was done so fast and efficiently! Just as promised! Thank you Healthy Paws! Because of you our buddy now has a healthy paw! :)

great coverage for aging cat
This is the the second insurance company I have had pet insurance with and have found it to be very easy to work with. I have an aging cat that developed hyperthyroidism and IBD. Other insurance companies have per incedent deductables and need my vet to sign paperwork. At ASPCA there is an annual deductable and I fax them the claim form and a copy of the vet bill. I usually receive a check from them in less than 2 weeks. I have always had great service. As a matter of fact I have also insured my other cat and dog with them.

Trupanion is great to work with
My experience with Truepanion could not have gone better. My dog needed an operation on her elbow. A live person took my questions over the phone & e-mailed me the needed claim form within seconds. I submitted the form the day after the operation & was paid in a week! The policy cost is low, service is 1st rate. They paid 90% of the total cost with a $100 co-pay saving me $1000.00
