Wonderful Company!!!

As a Professional Dog Trainer, I have heard many comments from clients regarding the Pet Insurance companies they have tried. I tried this one based on one of my clients. My clients are waiting for my review of the company after using up my deductible. Wow! My 11 month old Saint Berdoodle developed a nasty cough and runny nose the day before we were to fly to another state. I had to take him to the emergency vet on Dec 23. Healthy Paws was notified on Dec 24 and had a check in the mail for reimbursement on Dec 26! This is an awesome affordable company.

Awesome!

Our poor pup broke his front paw and needed surgery. He had to stay 2 nights in the ICU. We were so scared as this was the first time he had a medical problem. We were so glad we had Healthy Paws Insurance, I did not even hear what the Vet said the cost was, because I knew we had good insurance and it was covered. We just wanted our buddy to have the best care possible, and knew we didn't have to worry about the cost. We have the $250 deductible, 90% coverage plan. After his final visit, I sent in the claim and it took a few days to process. Everything was done so fast and efficiently! Just as promised! Thank you Healthy Paws! Because of you our buddy now has a healthy paw! :)

great coverage for aging cat

This is the the second insurance company I have had pet insurance with and have found it to be very easy to work with. I have an aging cat that developed hyperthyroidism and IBD. Other insurance companies have per incedent deductables and need my vet to sign paperwork. At ASPCA there is an annual deductable and I fax them the claim form and a copy of the vet bill. I usually receive a check from them in less than 2 weeks. I have always had great service. As a matter of fact I have also insured my other cat and dog with them.

Trupanion is great to work with

My experience with Truepanion could not have gone better. My dog needed an operation on her elbow. A live person took my questions over the phone & e-mailed me the needed claim form within seconds. I submitted the form the day after the operation & was paid in a week! The policy cost is low, service is 1st rate. They paid 90% of the total cost with a $100 co-pay saving me $1000.00

I recommend Pets Best

I started with Pets Best 5 years ago when I got a new golden retriever puppy and have been happy with my experience with them. At that time I also had a 6 year old golden and had no problem insuring her too at what I thought was a very reasonable rate. A few people I know have had complaints with other insurance companies and I always tell them to look into Pets Best. My older golden is now getting treatment for spondylosis in her mid spine and the insurance has been covering 80% of her chiropractic appts for the last couple of years. I sleep better knowing I will be able to help my dogs as needed when they have a health crisis.

So far, so good

Haven't actually had to use my plan yet, but have been very satisfied with customer service. Had several questions before purchasing the plan (have it for 3 dogs) and did alot of comparing. This is what worked for me and gave me what I wanted. They are straight forward and no hidden small print. They took longer then planned to process claim but kept me updated the entire time. Again, can't say enough about customer service!!

Very Satisfied

I have had policies on two of my three cats for 2.5 months and these are the first pet insurance policies I have had despite having cats all my life. My experience with the other uninsured older cat and her intestinal cancer led me to getting coverage on the younger two. The youngest went into acute respiratory distress and I took him to an emergency 24/7 clinic. The care was prompt, professional, and seemingly clinically appropriate. Too bad our emergency rooms cannot be as effective. He was there two days and in my opinion was saved as a result of the intervention. The total cost was $1060. I filed my first claim and one month and 2 days later from mailing received the check. The amount was accurate and the Explanation of Benefits was clear and understandable. Again, too bad human health insurance cannot do as well. I am very pleased with this outcome and would strongly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance and the clinic that saved Max (my cat).

My first claim

I have had this insurance for almost 5 years. My yorkie had a end of a chew stick stuck in his throat he had to have surgery to remove the total cost incurred $4300. I comtacted trupanion and was totally impressed. They emailed me the claim form immediately and also faxed each vet a copy so that claim could be submitted. My claim was paid within a week and I received the cheques shortly after. I was surprised and very happy with the entire process. They were so accessible. The only surprise was that they did not cover taxes charged on the invoice i don"t recall seeing this as an exclusion. Anyways i would highly recommend Trupanion and did my friend bought the next day. Very happy pet owner.
