My 9 month old English Bulldog came down with double pneumonia just days before Christmas. He spent 3 days at the vet as he was really struggling to get those lungs cleared. Thankfully I didn't have to worry about the bill since I have insurance for him. Embrace covered I received 1600 from his 2200. bill (this was my 80% after the 200. deductible). There was no hesitation from Embrace on paying this out...no questions asked. I have another bulldog that I have covered (regretfully) under another insurance company. I wish I knew about Embrace when I signed her up. Embrace has been a much better company to work with and they don't disqualify issues based on breed.

The only thing I didn't like was a year or two ago, after a claim, they almost doubled my monthly rate saying it was based on the average costs of basset hounds in my area. I interpreted this to mean my basset hound, since it was right after a claim - and that didn't seem right after 7 plus years of paying into the program. I would have given them a 10 if not for this.

This is my first claim with embrace, I was pleased with the experience. The claim was processed and paid in a decent time frame and they covered exactly what I expected.

Have had to make several claims recently as my 12 1/2 yr old dog (wheaton cross)has hypothyroidism. He is on medication & needs blood work every 2-3 months to monitor his levels. All claims have been paid within a few days without problems.

Have used Embrace for three years. In three years have had three illnesses occur. Each time claims were processed quickly and there were no issues with claim payments. A really good idea to have insurance as it was well worth it each time. I will be with Embrace for the foreseeable future.
