Pays for itself
I'm happy to have the insurance...even with a young, healthy dog issues arise...my dog is 4 and each year, we've received more reimbursement than what we're paying for the policy.

Wonderful Experiences
Each time we submit a claim we are provided with an update to ensure that we know the status, not to mention we can check online. The process is seamless and they are available for questions if you ever need anything. I am glad I purchased the insurance and would recommend it to any pet owner. My main piece of advice would be to get it early.

PetsHealth - Pleased with increased coverages
We have carried PetsHealth (Level 2)for about 5 years & have 3 dogs, 2 of which are large breeds. Claims processing has always been quick and customer service is great. While this insurance will cover routine visits, I can't afford that level of insurance. We were debating dropping the insurance, as we were paying out more in premiums than reimbursements received. We had an ACL repair early 2012 & and an amputation late 2012. However, Petshealth just increased their cap per incident from $1500 to $3000 and deleted their overall annual cap, so there is no cap on the number of incidents in a year. We're hopeful this will improve coverage. I would give them an overall rating of 8.

Great experience
My puppy Sammy gets into everything and has quite a few vet visits. Embrace has promptly reviewed and paid my claims with no issues. Very happy with the service.

Trupanion Not All It's Cracked Up to Be
After being financially devastated by my old dog's chronic illnesses, I researched pet insurance for the young dogs and kittens. Trupanion got a lot of really good reviews, so I went with them. In the three years I've had this insurance, the monthly fees have more than doubled per pet (the original $23 per month is now $50 each for my dogs). I've made two claims in the last year, and in both cases, the insurance check came nowhere near the 90% they claim they pay. If your animal is injured or sick and you bring him into the vet for treatment, Trupanion doesn't pay for the examination of the injured/sick pet. So if your bill is $100 and $50 of it was for the examination, you're only going to get 90% of $50, not the full amount you paid. In their defense, Trupanion did state they don't pay examination fees in their policy (which I missed in the small print), but with the doubled monthly fees, I am finding this insurance not all it's cracked up to be.

Excellent Customer Service
Healthy Paws is absolutely the best! Their customer service is better than any company I've worked with. It's not easy seeing your dog go through issues, not being able to figure out the problem. They respond to claims extremely quickly and they truly care about your pet. I would recommend them 100%.

Trupanion Review
My dog has had a bit of bad luck and has seen the vet for a few things in the past 6 months. Trupanion is easy to use and they dont dispute and help cover some of the costs, which has helped us out greatly and our dog.
