Worth every penny
When we got our Great Pyrenees we knew he would be expensive, so for the first time we decided to get pet insurance. We looked at many companies and decided that Trupanion offered us the best combination of services.
Within two months we put in our first two claims when the dog ended up mysteriously lame. Had it not been for insurance we would have been on the hook for over $1,000. Instead our total out-of-pocket expense was $300, and should he need more treatment for this same issue our costs are nothing.
What's more important is that we were not afraid of trying recommended treatments and tests as the vets were confounded at first, thinking it was an orthopedic problem. As it turned out, he had a fungal and a bacterial infection in his paw and lymph nodes.

Easy communication and quick reimbursement
Our dog had undergone a series of diagnostic tests and subsequent treatment for heartworms. (Even in spite of staying on top of regular meds, dogs are still very much at risk for them!) Healthy Paws has been very easy to communicate with via e-mail and the reimbursement process was quick and fair. I'm very glad we have a policy with them. I'm a first-time pet insurance policyholder and I'm glad I made that decision. I received reimbursements within two weeks of first faxing the claims to them.

Great pet insurance
So glad I choose Embrace Pet Insurance. Claim forms were very easy to complete.
I received great communication by email after claims were received.
Very quick processing and issuing of reimbursements.
Follow up emails from Embrace to make sure I received my checks.
Wish my own health care insurance was this efficient.

Very Professional and Helpful
Both our dogs have Embrace Insurance and we also opted for their Wellness Rewards program. When learning of the higher than expected cost of neutering our large breed dog, I called to see if we could upgrade our rewards program (even though renewal was not for a few more months) in order to absorb some of the cost. The service representative was extremely helpful and professional and took time to completely explain all details. Thanks to Embrace, we recouped an extra $50 back from the overall expense. They also made me aware when my email program was bouncing back their email updates to me about reimbursements. These people are a pleasure to deal with!

Wonderful!
Romulus got into a bag of trash left outside while I let him our for his morning potty break. Unbeknownst to me, he ingested a bit of moldy cheese. Four hours later, he was convulsing. I went to my regular vet first, then he was transferred to the vet school when they could not figure out how to make his convulsions stop (they tried various anti-convulsants to no avail). They finally discovered the problem, treated his accordingly with fluids, hospitalization in ICU and very expensive meds). Of course, the only thing I was concerned about was his health at the time, but after he can home and recovered, I began to worry if Embrace would cover everything as well as they claimed they would. They did! After I submitted a claim and his records, they reimbursed me the amount agreed upon in my policy very quickly, with no questions asked. Love this company!

They are amazing!! Extremely grateful!!!
I honestly have to say that they have great customer service and help you whenever you need it! This will be my second time they have helped me make sure both of my princesses are in good medical condition without me having to worry about the medical cost which was a roughly a total of $5500! Yup, thats right wouthout them I wouldnt know what to do because they reimbursement me super-fast as well and maid it quick and painless. Also, on top of that they check up on them after to make sure they were feeling better. They made me feel like they care just as much about my babies as I do! I couldn’t be happier with Healthy Paws! I would recommend them to everyone! When I first was looking for insurance for my puppies I did my research and hoped I pick the right one and after my experience hands down I know Healthy Paws was the best choice I could of made! =)

Healthy Paws was great!
Last week our 9 month old Great Pyrenees puppy Finnigan ate a TV remote control to include 2 batteries. That of course lead to emergency surgery, overnight stay, and medicine. Because of the Healthy Paws pet insurance policy we have, I wasn't worried about the financial obligation. Healthy Paws was fast at processing the claim, and the check was to us within a week. They did follow up emails inquiring about how Finnigan was doing, which again shows they go the extra mile. It was very appreciated. You just gotta love these guys!!!!!!
We have 6 of the most injury prone dogs on the planet, if I owned an insurance company I wouldn't take them on...... But healthy paws did!! They keep us updated and are always kind and courteous. They even add the personal touch of asking about our dogs by name and ask for pics. Very rarely is it computer generated and you can tell its a real person who genuinely cares. We have submitted a claim at our vet by fax and driving home we receive an email saying our claim is settled and a check on the way, even on a Sunday evening. We just wish all insurance companies were as customer and user friendly as this. Try them, you won't be dissapointed. We love healthy paws!!!! Wooooohoooo!!!!
