Excellent!
Trupanion promptly and accurately processed my claim. The process was simple and they paid 90% after my deductible. With close to $3k in veterinary expenses this insurance has already paid for itself over and over again!

Trupanion should be called Excusepanion
We have been with Trupanion for the last two years with our three dogs which has been costing us 325.00 a month. We have had 7-8 problems with the dogs since being with Trupanion and they have wesseled out of every claim possible with every excuse in the book. The latest one is a claim pre approval was for a cruciate tear. Their excuse is they don't cover it because it happened in the other leg. We all know insurance is just another name for scam artist, but at least with car insurance they take the deductable, pay the claim and raise rates, not supply expensive rates, claim 90% paid on all claims and then come up with every excuse and disclaimer possible to get out of paying.
I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you have money to waste.

Fast, friendly, and affordable
We weren't sure what to expect from a pet insurance company since we had never even heard of pet insurance before we got Healthy Paws. After being insured for a almost a year now I have to say that we will always have all of our pets insured through Healthy Paws. There is no worse feeling than having to take cost into account when trying to decide the best medical course of action for your pet. Being able to tell the vet, "do whatever is best for the dog," without worrying about the money is a wonderful feeling. We pay around $35 dollars for each of our three dogs. Whether the we end up saving money in the long run or paying slightly more, I'm not sure. But we can easily make room in our budget for $100 dollars a month. Taking a 15 thousand dollar hit at one time from a vet bill, which we expect to happen at least once, would be detrimental to our finances. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They process claims within a day usually and we get the check within 2-3 days. We get emails from Healthy Paws asking about our boys after they have been sick. Do yourself a favor, if you know that you would pay any amount to save your dog, get the insurance.

Amazing
My experience with Embrace has been SUPERIOR. They are the BEST provider for my sweet pups. They pay promptly, the claim processing is efficient, the customer service is outstanding. They have been outstanding processing multiple claims for my pup who suffers with severe hip dysplasia. I cannot stress enough how FABULOUS Embrace has been and I sleep much better knowing my guys are covered WITHOUT gimmicks with Embrace.

I am pleased with ASPCA pet insurance but......
Due to problems with her ears, my cat, Betsy, who is 6 years old, is on prescription canned and dry food and so is my kitten, Jenni, who is almost one year old, since it wouldn't be easy to feed each of them a different diet (rabbit and peas.) Both of them are doing fine with the food....they both love it! I wish that the insurance would cover some of the cost of this prescription food as it is necessary for their health and well-being. I hope the ASPCA will reconsider at some point in the future. Also, I wish I had had this insurance for my beloved cat, Annie, who passed away last year.

A+++ Service from Embrace! Highly Recommend
I purchased Embrace last March for my English Bulldog puppy. We have never purchased pet insurance before, and researched many companies thoroughly online before deciding on Embrace. Their fair pricing, reimbursement based on cost rather than someone else's opinion of what is "reasonable and customary," and coverage of genetic conditions convinced us that Embrace would be the best choice. And after a rough first year for my Lola due to a bum knee and a fondness for eating bees she is allergic to, Embrace's prompt response to our claims has reinforced our decision. We will always choose Embrace and recommend to all!

Embrace is the best!
I have tried other pet insurance companies in the past and I must say that Embrace is excellent. They kept me update and informed me promptly on the progress of my claim. I have peace of mind now knowing that if God forbid I have a big vet bill, I have a reliable, trustworthy insurance to help me through it. I highly recommend this insurance company to other pet lovers out there.

Used 2 other pet insurance companies before H-Paws
I am a professional police dog trainer and handler. Until I retired, my working dog company had over 40 dogs. We used VPI for several years on the recommendation of our vet. They were OK because we knew nothing better. Over time VPI started "nickel and diming" us over vet bills. SO I looked for another. The second company offered a better claims reimbursement, but there customer service was non-existent. Claims were SLOWWww. And they did not cover medications or physical therapy.
I did some research on-line and found Healthy Paws. There 90% coverage plan for 2 dogs was $20 a month cheaper than the previous vet insurance company. Their plans cover everything we need. Claims service is amazingly fast. No quibbling over our vet bill. They just pay it—everything but the vet exam.
On top of it all, one of my dogs had to have knee surgery (TPLO) recently. Someone at H-Paws sent me an email asking how Zoey was doing. How cool is that?
H-Paws is impressive. I recommend it to all professional trainers and handlers, especially to police departments with K9 working dogs. Budgets are tight. They can save big bucks on their vet costs.

Best care....Iowa
I have 5 cats ranging in ages from 16 years old to 2 years old. Problems seem to occur after office hours and I end up at our university vet hospital. They are very good but it is very expensive. It is an easier choice knowing I will be reimbursed for much of his or her care fairly quickly after the event. I would not want to withhold care because of the cost. That would be a horrible decision. They are my family.
