Nationwide has been by far the best pet insurance company. They are hassle free when you submit claims and get payment extremely fast. The customer service is exceptional.

My dog was bitten by another dog and then ate 12 pain pills that were prescribed for the bite. The insurance covered 3/4 of the cost of an emergency visit for the bite and a hospital stay of two nights for ingesting the pain pills. I was reimbursed within two weeks. It's great not having to worry about the total bill of a costly accident.

I pay a higher premium, so I expect the best coverage & treatment.

We discovered what it looked like a cyst under his jaw. Took him to the vet, got seen and treated with antibiotics. After meeting our annual deductible, his visit and treatment was covered at 90%. The claim submission was easy, it was reviewed and approved within a week or less; and the credit was electronically deposited within a day of approval. Thank you for the promptness.

We could not be happier that we purchased a policy for our dog from Healthy Paws. Cuper has a chronic auto immune disease and horrible allergies and would have cost us a fortune if we didn't have insurance. Healthy Paws has been upfront about what they cover and don't and they have always surprised me by covering some things I thought they wouldn't, like probiotics and fish oil. We have been thrilled with their customer service and timely payments. You never know when you're going to get a dog that has a chronic problem and this has taken so much of the stress out of taking care of a sick animal.
