Absolutely Amazing
My pup Lucy started out with vomiting and other nasty things. It graduated to her being lethargic and not eating. On our third trip to the vet, Lucy had a fever of 105.3 and her liver numbers were ridiculously high. She was hospitalized immediately and remained there for four days. She's getting better but her liver numbers are still elevated. We are still seeing the vet on a frequent basis for monitoring. Working with Embrace has been SO easy. The claims can be submitted electronically and, so far, all communication has been via e-mail, which I like. Of course I could call in if I preferred to communicate that way. I used another insurance company for one year and then moved to Embrace and I am SO happy I made the move. Embrace is great!

Great communication!
I have had an Embrace policy for my Lab, Tyson, since we brought him home 3 years ago. I have found the customer service to be terrific and easy to follow.

Treatment for Pancreatitis
During December of 2012, My dog, "Phoebe", became ill and was diagnosed with Moderate Pancreatitis. She was very ill and in January of 2013 she relapsed and had to be treated again.
She had to be hospitalized several times and between December of 2012 and throughout January of 2013, she had to be treated by the Vet with medications and there were several visits and stays at the hospital.
Phoebe has recovered and thankfully Trupanion did cover the expenses that were allowed within the boundaries of my policy.
Initially when I submitted the claims, Trupanion refused the claim based on an incident that Phoebe was treated for in 2010. Trupanion explained that there was the possibility that the problem in 2010 could have been a preexisting condition, therefore my claims for Phoebe were not eligible for coverage for the Pancreatitis.
I immediately notified the company that I would appeal their decision. I spoke with the Veterinarian that took care of Phoebe in 2010 and he told me that he treated Phoebe for Gastroenteritis and that she had no symptoms at that time that would have indicated Pancreatitis, that the cause was from things that the dog had ingested and her digestive tract was reacting to it. He treated the upset and it cleared up and until December of 2012, she had no more problems with her stomach or digestive system.
I obtained a letter from the Vet who treated Phoebe in 2010 explaining to Trupanion what Phoebe had been treated for(Gastroenteritis)

Amazing!
Trupanion is an amazing pet insurance company who takes care of my Hero Dog Holly. Holly is a seizure alert and Response Service Dog who was named the 2012 AHA Hero Service Dog. Trupanion generously donated their coverage to all 8 2012 and even the 2011 AHA Hero Dog Winners. Holly saves my life on a day to day basis. When Holly started having some medical problems, expensive testing needed to be done. Trupanion paid for 90% of her expensive medical bills. They were fast, nice and amazing at handling Holly's claim for her medical bills. Trupanion is an amazing company that I highly recommend. Holly the Hero Service Dog loves Trupanion.

Excellent Service
Once again Embrace has come through for me. My poor 6 year old lab Sammy tore his left ACL last May and his right ACL a few weeks ago. Both required major surgery, which is incredibly stressful. But the Embrace claims process is so easy, and the customer service representatives are wonderful. I do not know how Sammy and I would have made it without Embrace. I recommend Embrace to all my pet-owner friends and family.

Happy with Petshealth Insurance
My cat, Rudy, has unfortunately had many different health issues throughout his 13 years. Vet bills in New Jersey are expensive and Petshealth has been great in processing and reimbursing those claims. While I prefer that Rudy stay healthy, I am glad I purchased insurance with Petshealth when I adopted Rudy as a kitten. I wish there wasn't a pre-existing clause (this is why I did not rate higher) but understand now that Petshealth has a plan with continuous coverage which was not available when Rudy qualified.
