I researched numerous pet insurance plans, knowing that my puppy had an overbite issue. Based on other reviews and coverage details - and looking at the "what is not covered" and "what is covered" information on the plan specific web page I viewed, I choose the Embrace plan. Well, they say the devil is in the details, and the company gets to decide whether teeth that are poking holes in the upper palate of my puppy's mouth constitute "trauma" or "illness". My vote would have been trauma, but they don't want to pay the claim, so they voted "illness". I would NOT recommend this company.

I wasn't sure about getting pet insurance in the first place but recently our little puppy was in the vet for a few different things. I submitted the claims and within a day I got and email saying they were being processed and about two days later received another email letting me know what our reimbursement would be. We got the checks a few days later and I got an email asking how our dog was feeling. Overall great service.

Again you are an amazing pet insurance company. My young dog was vomiting over 6 hours so I went to the ER. Apparently his kidney blood levels were extremely high. His progressive kidney disease changes rapidly. The night before he was eating well. Adjustments were made to increase his subcutaneous fluids - he now takes an entire bag (1 quart) daily. My dog is such a happy boy and enjoys life. He takes his fluids very well while resting and snuggling his head into his favorite blanket. Thank you for your quick turnaround on payment.

I purchased insurance for my Goldendoodle Brodie earlier this year hoping, as will all insurance, to never need to use it, but with the high cost of veterinary care felt it was a good idea. I did my research and chose Healthy Paws.A few months later Brodie developed ITP and has needed multiple visits with his veterinarian as well as the emergency clinic. He also is on at least six medications and they have been changing those in an attempt to get his test results in line. I have already sent ten claims for this illness to Healthy Paws and their response has been prompt, accurate, and without question.

We are very pleased with Healthy Paws pet insurance. They have been very prompt with payments and helpful with the process including phone calls. We would highly recommend them.

I am pleased with the quick responses to my questions and the speed at which I was reimbursed. The wellness portion of the policy is a moneysaver as I regularly get preventative meds and exams for my dog, who is a therapy dog and must be healthy for his visits to the hospital and nursing home. I was a little unsure about pet insurance at first, but I am glad I did the research and chose Embrace.

Embrace is certainly a better choice that VIP, which I had for my former dog, a Husky who lived to be 17 1/2.Embrace staff is super wonderful and thoughtful. Embrace will cover inherited breed disorders as well. However, it's expensive; but if my poodle gets very sick, god forbid...so far at 11 yrs plus he's been in amazing health....i know Embrace will be there for that just incase cost of treatment. I have it for the worst case scenario and will keep it for this wonderful white standard poodle whom I adore. my latest claims have been reviewed and the staff has been meticulous and fair! what more could I want from an insurance provider unless they're non-profit.

Our very active young CBR recently pulled up a rear leg and stopped using it. We found one of her toes was very swollen and the nail was split. Her vet was sure the toe was broken. Fortunately it was not broken, but was infected.I filed a claim and when I received a response, noticed one prescription was not included. I called and spoke with the nicest rep who quickly found the problem and took care of it. Whenever I have contacted Embrace, about anything, they have always been courteous, pleasant, and upbeat. It is nice and much appreciated!

Our pet dog was ill and required numerous testing and ultimately surgery and biopsy to determine illness. Thank God it wasn't cancer which we were preparing for and turned out as a chronic bronchial problem. We paid out $12k to the hospital and were worried, what if the insurance didn't pay for any reason? Regardless, we would have paid whatever it took for our dog to get better. Our insurance Trupanion, same day claims were faxed by the hospital, they sent us an email that they rec'd and are starting to process. Checks for reimbursements were sent within a couple weeks and still sending them as we submit ongoing claims. We are very pleased with the service and the coverage and their timely and caring emails about our dog. Highly recommend
