I'm grateful to have protection for my pet.

So far I have not needed to use the ASPCA Insurance for my dog but I am very grateful to be able to have health insurance coverage for her. I have her on the level 2 coverage for emergencies and hospitalization, I hope that I will never need to use the insurance but glad that I have it. I know that ASPCA has helped many people cover the expenses that they had for a pet in an emergency even my friend who lost her loving pet, ASPCA was there to help her in her time of need. I think that ASPCA is the best choice for pet health insurance and hope that they keep up the good work that they do.

Peach of mind might be worth the 'break even' mine

...money. I believe I'm breaking even to date on my dog's ASPCA Insurance. Having said that, I worry less about outstanding bills for Marco.

I wish they insured people!

My dog was spayed last week. I submitted my claim Monday afternoon and had a response in my inbox Tuesday morning. The submission process is very easy. I have been trying to get reimbursement for MY medical bill for the last two months and spent hours on the phone getting passed from person to person. I still don't have my reimbursement. I wish they insured people !! I am very satisfied with Pets Best and recommend it to all of my friends. I volunteer with a golden retriever rescue group and when I sign a contract with a family to adopt one of our dogs I tell them about my positive experiences with Pets Best.

Pretty Pleased, tiny bit annoyed :(

The very first claim I had to file with Trupanion went without a hitch. I am also an employee at my animal clinic so therefore, I get a discount on services as well. Being an honest person, I turn in my claims AFTER my discount has been applied, so really, Trupanion also benefits from my employee discount because ultimately they are not having to pay out as much as if I were a regular client at said animal clinic. That being said, this second claim I turned in has been a little frustrating. I can't complain about the amount paid, but I feel that it took way to long to process my claim and far too many phone calls to my clinic to "verify" charges. I feel like there was a lot of "nit picking" when the company is already saving a ton of money from my discount. I really felt like they were trying to get out of paying for some things because of my employment status. This experience was completely different from my first experience and it left me feeling jaded and disappointed. Overall, I would still recommend them to other pet owners.

BEWARE! THEY INCREASE PREMIUMS AFTER A YEAR

BEWARE!!!!! THEY DRAMATICALLY INCREASE PREMIUMS AFTER A YEAR! As many others have posted on this site, I joined a year ago and have seen a 40 % increase on my premium at the end of my first year. I have a mix breed hound under 2 years old in West Hollywood, CA. When I joined, I had read about similar complaints on this site, so I questioned the woman selling me the policy about these possible increases. She assured me that rate increases happen very rarely and are never very much. She told me not to worry about this. Stupidly, I listened to her. Supposedly, they only do this very rarely and are catching up to medical costs in my area - however, you can see similar postings about this complaint from every year, from all over the place. Clearly this is a systematic bait and switch. I just spoke to them and their attitude was there is nothing we can do. Supposedly, some outside group knows this info a year ago, but they only find out 30 days before the adjustments. Obviously they should try to get this info earlier, so they can alert new customers of dramatic increases that might happen the next year. Once you join an insurance carrier it is very hard to switch carriers. Anything that has happened to your pet with the previous carrier will be considered "pre-existing conditions" and will not be covered by your new carrier. While everyone at Trupanion is nice on the phone, I feel completely defrauded. They can increase my premiums as much as they like with no rea

Covered a torn ACL at 80%

Pets Best was a great help in helping to cope with my Pit-bull's acl tear. This procedure was very costly and hard on our expenses, but with the 80 percent reimbursement it made the surgery possible on Cocoa and our wallets too. Thanks to Pets Best for being there for us.

Came through for very expensive accident

My Airedales got into a baby-locked cabinet and ate an unknown amount of raisins. My vet immediately put them on IV therapy. They are healthy again because of the great care. Pets Best paid the claim within two days and cut an extremely expensive accident into an affordable one. The best thing is that my dogs are no worse for the wear. And all food has been removed from prying noses.

I WISH THEY COVERED HUMANS!

I think this is the first review I have ever written in my life. Why? Because Healthy Paws is so extraordinary I want to tell as many people about it as possible. We have a 9.5 month old Brussels Griffon, who is all love, but sadly contracted Giardia (a parasite) several months back. For those of you that don't know about Giardia, it is a tough parasite to get rid of--many compare it to children having lice. I have been in and out of the vet treating Zola at least 6 times in the past few months. Each visit requires a fecal test and each time it comes back positive and we need to retreat with medicine. Each time, Healthy Paws covered the fecal test at 90% and all her medicine. As a one off, this doesn't amount to much but when you are back in the vet every other week it has truly been a lifesaver. When I submit a claim, I get an instant reimbursement notice and receive a check in the mail a few days later. I only wish my insurance was so efficient. Just the other day, I received an email from Healthy Paws asking how Zola was doing (and this was not a generic email). It nearly brought me to tears, it has been such a struggle trying to get rid of this parasite and Healthy Paws has truly been caring, professional and most of all compassionate. I have told several vets about Healthy Paws and encourage them to tell all their clients. They are just extraordinary.

Superb Claims Processing... Amazing Service

I have used Healthy Paws for my German Shepherd since 2010. I only have good experiences to share. Bergen has had 2 major incidents - a broken leg and now sadly a perforated ear drum. Each time claims processing was more than fast - It was in fact incredibly fast, same day processing. This is the very best insurance service for your pet. I could only wish that people health insurance is as efficient was Healthy Paws.
