I have only had Scout's insurance with Healthy Paws since Feb of 2013. Here it is July and I have already submitted 3 claims. (Have to love puppies!) The first 2 claims went in together. It took about a week & a half to get it all completed as they had to enter the medical history and get all of the background on the situation. The 3rd claim was about 2 weeks ago when my Scout got a bottle of vitamins and ate them. (vitamins, platic bottle, lid and all) Scout spent the night in the hospital on a Wednesday and came home Thursday morning. I called Healthy Paws Thursday morning and asked them to fax a claim form to my vet as I had forgotten to take one. Friday morning I called the vet to verify that they had it. Indeed they did. The vet completed the form and faxed it back first thing that Friday morning. That same day, I had a response back from Healthy Paws on the claim. I was very impressed that they had processed it in less than a day. The explaination was clear and easy to understand. The check came in the mail approx a week later. I have spoken with Healthy Paws staff several times by phone & email. They are always very polite & helpful. They followed up after the viatmin incident to make sure Scout was ok as well. I'm thankful for the quality service I have received so far with them. Hoping that I don't need to talk to them any time soon..... After several years with a different insurance and so many hassles, I switched to Embrace. I am so glad I did and wish I had done it sooner. I so pleased with their responsiveness, helpfulness, and always keeping me informed. The coverage is better and the cost is cheaper! Best switch I ever made.

Trupanion once again came through for us and paid the claim. I have been 100% satisfied with them and would recommend Trupanion to everyone!

I have been absolutely delighted with Pets Best Insurance. The insurance has helped with not one but two ACL surgeries on our Australian shepherd. As she has grown older she has also had arthritis issues and PB has covered some of her medicine costs. I purchased my policy when my dog was young, but certainly have been most appreciative of their financial assistance as she has grown older. This is just the best insurance policy.

My dog, Lamont has always been healthy and spunky. The other day he was not himself and he had horrible tummy problems. He was seriously ill and I was so scared. I took him to the vet and they ran tests to make sure he was okay. The tests were good, but it was apparent he had eaten something that made him very ill. I've had Pet Best for 3 years and never completed a claim before. I called the them with some questions and the customer service representative was VERY helpful and friendly. Lamont is also feeling much better!

The forms were super easy to fill out and Embrace follows up with very friendly and helpful e-mails. My claim was paid fast, too, directly to my bank account in about 2 weeks after filing. If you have an English Bulldog it's a well known fact that having pet insurance is an essential and this proved true with my 10 month old bully who was diagnosed with brachycephalic airway syndrome. I did my pet insurance research and went with Healthy Paws based on their stellar rating on this site. I was not mislead. My dog had the works. He had everted laryngeal saccules removed, his soft palette shortened and his nostrils opened up. Amounting to $4200 dollars. I could never have done this without Healthy Paws who not only informed me my dog's surgery would be covered ahead of time, but pointedly followed up on his well being after the fact. I am very pleased and my Winston is nearly fully recovered and assured a much better quality of life. Couldn't be happier with the service and couldn't have done it without them.

Wookie became so sick almost overnight we thought we were going to loose him. The vet(s) couldn't find a cause and ended up doing exploratory abdominal surgery. In that time Healthy Paws kept track of all the bills, called the vets for clarification, and then paid the claim within a week of the last claim. The best part was that they called us, and left us supportive and encouraging messages and emails through the whole process including after we brought him home. We are glad they are part of our `extended family'. They are the best!
