Love the easy online process to submit claims, no matter the date of a claim or the number of invoices sent. I really appreciated the frequent and thorough updates on the progress of my claims right up until each claim was completed and paid directly to my bank account. The entire experience was quick and uncomplicated.

my only issue was I sent in the invoice for our dog Douglas.
my only issue was I sent in the invoice for our dog Douglas....it was page two (the first page had a kitten information and information on another dog (also covered) who was just getting heart worm preventive meds.....they wanted me to send the whole invoice and proof of payment. Please note the second page with Douglas listed and his allergy shot showed payment of the full bill (over $500.00 by American Express).....I just thought that was a bit odd sending info in for pets that had nothing to do with the claim and also proof of payment which was with the first submission.....just a little different than what I have experienced in the past.

I am very satisfied with my pet's coverage through Trupanion. I believe from my experiences that not covering exams do not seem to be the best for the client and pet.
I believe from my experiences that not covering exams do not seem to be the best for the client and pet. If not all the price of the exams at least cover a percentage. We do not know what other treatments the pet will need without an exam. It would make sense then to have the exam included in what you cover.
