Very pleased
My 5 month-old puppy ate a binder clip and needed stomach surgery to have it removed. It was really hard, but I'm so glad that I didn't have to make decisions based solely on cost because of Healthy Paws. They processed the claim so fast and got everything taken care of the day after they got the claim. The insurance has paid for itself for the year and then some. Plus, they followed up with me via email to check on my pup.

THE BEST Insurance for your dog
Healthy Paws is absolutely amazing and the best health insurance experience I have had (people insurance included).
Bills are paid in days, with near immediate email confirmations and clear explanations of coverage and details via PDF attachments.
The personal follow-ups to check on the health of our puppy after a vet visit has been incredible.
From my experience, Healthy Paws customer care is truly unmatched in the insurance business, and I wish Blue Cross, Anthem, Aetna, and other health insurers for people would look at the Healthy Paws corporate culture and learn from them.
I also wish my own health insurance provider was as customer focused and responsive as Healthy Paws.
I did a lot of research on which insurer to go with for our puppy, and I am so happy to have selected Healthy Paws.
Yes, they really are the best in what they do and how they do it. You will not be disappointed.

Awesome Group Of People and Service.
Healthy Paws have been our insurance provider for nearly two years and we could'nt be happier. Before choosing this company my husband did some extensive recearch, comparing the different company's available, Hearlthy Paws came out on top. We have a cat, Isabella and a young Belgium Malinois, Ranger, who last year eat a large piece of football, he had to have his stomach cut open, an eight inch incision. Lucky for us he pulled though, and the people at Healthy Paws kept in contact with us though out this whole ordeal. Then just recently he had a growth removed and again I have been receiving emails wishing him good health. Aside for the very prompt payments, in under 10 days... Their customer care relationship is above and beyond exceptional. Thank you Healthy Paws.

We wouldn't be without it
This coverage has paid for itself! We got the insurance with wellness when we got our first dog two years ago. And we added our new dog a few months ago. Filing claims couldn't be easier. And the coverage is great! The customer service has been wonderful, and we don't have to wait long for reimbursement.I would never not have embrace for our pets!

I loved Embrace till my first policy renewal
I've had Embrace insurance for my beagle mix for a little under a year. I got the renewal quote in the mail and was surprised by the amount it went up, going up from $565 to $640. I called to ask why and the representative that Embrace will raise my rates every year by 10% because my dog is over 5 years old. If she lives a long time and they increase rates by 10% every year, this insurance is going to be very expensive.
I did a lot of research before choosing Embrace, and I have been very happy with their response time to our claims, and they have always reimbursed my 80%. But this 10% percent increase every year just because my dog is now 6 years old is crazy. I would be more understanding if my dog was over 10 years old, but everyone calls her a puppy and yet I'm paying elderly dog rates.
I'm no longer recommending Embrace to my friends and cautioning them that even the best companies will increase your rate $75 for no reason. I haven't decided whether to renew or not this year or switch to a different company.

My 13 year old cocker got an infected wound on her back that required a series of surgeries. Thankfully, we had insurance which meant we ended up only being out of pocket about 1/3 the total cost. It really helps to know that when something happens you don't need to make a decision between doing what's right for your best friend and paying the mortgage that month! :)
