Great coverage, fast claims, wonderful service

We have two dogs covered by Healthy Paws. Our Akbash had a problem with her shoulder which would not have been covered by the majority of other providers - Healthy Paws covered the entire surgery and meds with no (well, few) questions asked. My younger Setter suffered a fractured femur. Healthy Paws not only covered all the radiographs but also the laser therapy to help her heal. She has recovered completely. There is an individual rep assigned to their respective accounts that answers every email or calls you.

Trupanion is awesome!

Trupanion has been amazing. Once I faxed my claim they replied with and email within 24 hours confirming they had received an were processing my claim. Then I had follow up emails advising me the stage my claim was in and then a final email letting me know what they were reembursing me for and that the cheques had been mailed. I now have set up direct deposit so that any future claims will be directly deposited into my bank account. They are friendly, caring, efficient, and fast. I was very impressed.

Embrace Service

We recently had some issues with our boxer, Molly. So we saw our vet, and had them resolved. One was for routine care; the other, after Molly decided to eat a cell phone cord. That required x-rays and other treatments. Both of our claims wee submitted to Embrace fro review. Both were handled quickly, and we contacted several times during the process by Embrace staff. There support staff is excellent!! If you have a pup, and considering insurance, you would do well to consider Embrac!

Insures pets 10+ AND pays their claims!

I have had my dog for 6 years. Aside from 2 emergency situations shortly after we got her. The only claims we had were her annual physical, shots, and teeth cleaning. This time we had a big claim, and I was concerned about how it was handled. The claim was handled professionally, and evrything I thought would be covered was. Thank you!

Rates increasing

I bought pet insurance when we got our Rotweiler 9 yars ago. I purchased from VetInsurance, was told that there was no dedutible and that my rates would not increase. The company was sold to Ing Bank and then to Trupanion. Since they have taken over the policies my rate I creases every year. The only way to keep it at what I had originally contracted for was to apply a deductible, this is after I decided to cancel and I received a huge sob story about why I should keep it. They play to the owners heart strings. Last month I get another email that my rates are increasing again!!! Told them I was cancelling, keep getting emails pulling at heart strings again. They do not look at the breed or life expectancy. Rotties lifespan is 9-10 years, my boy is almost 9 and at this point all any pet owner should be thinking is that you are going to do the best for friend that you can and that means they don't suffer and you don't do anything to keep them alive because you don't want to lose them. Been through this with my first Rottie, she died of osteo sarcoma, made her comfortable and let her go. Be careful with these companies, it is insurance after all and they like money. 2 claims in almost 9 years, do the math as to how much you are paying. Put it in a separate bank account for your pets care. Not saying Trupanion is not a good company, but this constant increase of rates and then trying to make you feel guilty for cancelling is frustrating. Filled out the claim detail

Embrace pet insurance provides peace of mind.

I couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Embrace pet insurance. Our dog Barkley is doing well after an EKG and stay overnight at the emergency vet. (Of course nothing happens during regular office hours) he had a syncopal episode and we rushed him in. The doctors determined that he has a heart arrhythmia that can be treated with medication. (Yay!!) We knew we could get Barkley the best treatment out there without having the worry of over-paying.
