I have been very pleasesd with Trupanion.
It is very nice to deal with an insurance company that does exactly what it says, with no hassles, mountains of paperwork or calls.

Direct Deposited $1,000's in Claims Payments
I have two wonderful Havanese dogs with oxalate crystals. Pets Best staff have guided me in how to structure the best insurance plan given the chronicity of the dogs' conditions. Claims have been reviewed and managed in a timely fashion with payments deposited in my bank account electronically. Staff have been not only knowledgeable but also very caring. As a retired individual, I appreciate the respect they have always shown me when I call.

Will Never Own A Pet Without Embrace
Insurance is one of those things you wonder if you're 'throwing your money' away every month because you just never seem to use this insurance. And is it really worth it? Well, I can say 10000% YES it's worth it.
Our 4 year old English Springer Spaniel is very active. Sadly she started limping two months ago. After seeing our regular vet we did the limited activity route in hopes her lameness would be 'fixed' over time. It was sort of. Then she'd have a hard play session at the beach and would go lame/limp again. So off to see the specialists we went. Unfortunately it was determined she had a full tear of her right ACL and a partial of her left.
We opted to have bilateral TPLO surgery done. It's not recommended for every dog. She's small enough yet also has really muscular legs so the specialists said it would be a good option.
It wasn't a decision we took lightly. We did a ton of research and found a doctor that has received the highest of praise. We scheduled the surgery and notified Embrace.
Embrace responded right away with true concern for Ellie. We sent them the reports from her doctors and within a couple of days Embrace responded that the surgery would be covered. That was a little bit of a relief but still sad about the major surgery looming for us and Ellie.
I'm happy to report that Ellie's surgery was almost two weeks ago. She stayed overnight for only one night and walked out to greet us in the lobby the next day. On her own. No limping! It should be

Excellent Company
We have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for more than one year for our dog. I have never had an insurance company that is so responsive.
1. Claim filing responses are quick, complete, and comprehensive.
2. Payments are prompt.
3. Through correspondence with company representatives, it is clear that they are actually concerned about helping our dog get better.
I strongly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for your pet.

Pet Insurance that works!!
WE lost our beloved Appy after 3 emergency visits,2 in hospital stays, Our bills exceeded 11,000.
Trupanion handled all quickly, with detailed explanations of every bill processed. Each bill thanked us for taking such good care of Appy. The payments with those bills and a prior surgery was almost 10,000. Being in the insurance industry for 30 years, I never recommended any pet insurance prior to this one. In addition, I got a sympathy card , and refund on the unused premium. I can't speak more hightly of the efficient staff and the program, and have recommended to others who have purchased this program. Thank you Trupanion for helping us through a very sad time.
