Great Pet Insurance
Having Trupanion insurance for my current dog has been a God-send. My previous golden retriever died of hemangiosarcoma. Expenses for her treatments and hospital stays were almost $10,000, and I did not have pet insurance for her. It was heart-breaking to lose her almost 2 months after her diagnosis. One day after I adopted an older golden, I saw Dr. Jon's newsletter about Trupanion and signed up after looking further into its plans. It was the one of the best decisions I made. Unexpectedly my current golden was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma, and having Trupanion insurance has been very comforting especially while dealing with this tough illness. The reimbursement procedures are easy to follow; the company keeps me updated with timely emails of each claim; people I talked to on the phone are kind and helpful. Thankfully Barnie is in complete remission but still needs to continue with the chemo treatment and follow-up vet visits. I highly recommend Trupanion for all pet owners. One never knows when our beloved pet may become ill or encounter an accident. Having Trupanion insurance sure helps with the payments, provides a peace of mind and comfort for my pet and me to face these unexpected challenges.

The Best of the Best
I did a lot of research and comparison before I bought pet insurance for our dog (Kiki) in 2010. If you are a pet parent like me who is searching for the best, Healthy Paws is the best of the best. They were the top then and they are still the top now.
Our dog has elevated liver enzyme and was referred for further tests (ultrasound, x-ray, MRI). Results showed a tumor in her liver. The total cost of these tests alone are thousands of dollars! I did not even have to fill out a claim form because Healthy Paws has already a personalized form for Kiki. I took the claim form to the Vet Hospital for signature and I sent it with the bill to Healthy Paws. Within 24 hours, my claim was processed by outstanding claim staff and the following day, I was notified that the check was on its way.
It is a very difficult time when your beloved pet is sick but it is comforting when you have an excellent and caring pet insurance on your side. Thank you, Healthy Paws, from the bottom of my heart. You deserve the highest rating and commendation.
More power to all the staff of Healthy Paws.

Urgent treatment COVERED!!!!
My remarkably healthy service dog Cali was found to have a mass cell tumor at her yearly vet appointment. Within a week she had seen a specialist and was set for major surgery. The surgery was a success and she is now cancer free. Everything that ASPCA said they would cover the did in a prompt and cordial way. I received phone calls to check on her from the company. I spoke with caring customer service individuals, who made me feel like a member of their family. I was very impressed with the whole process from beginning to end. It was a stressful situation made much easier by ASPCA Pet Insurance. Thank You.

Great Insurance and Fast Service!
Healthy Paws Insurance is great! Our Frenchton chased a cat across the yard and over a fence. On landing, she dislocated the ligament on her knee. She was also having breathing issues when she was asleep or over-exerted herself. She had surgery to fix knee and the vet also enlarged her nostrils and shortened her soft palate. She is doing great! Our claims were reviewed and paid very promptly. We will definitely be keeping our coverage!

A loyal customer
I've had this insurance for my Rott/Shepherd mix for 5 years now. As a younger dog he was always eating something or getting into trouble somehow and we definitely got our money's worth. Now as a "senior", he is having more health issues and again, the insurance is paying for itself.

Crucial to have as a responsible pet parent
I've had Healthy Paws for over a year now, for both our dogs. Our rescue pup had all the usual medical problems associated with abandoned pets so the vet visits were common the first 6 months. Thankfully Healthy Paws was there to cover every illness or accident he had. But our biggest relief came when our old Cocker Spaniel went lame due to a bad knee that needed immediate surgery. Without hesitation we took him in knowing Healthy Paws not only covered the surgical procedure, but the meds and, most importantly, all the post-op therapy he would need to recover and be able to use the leg again without difficulty. The costumer service was flawless and sympathetic to our pets' suffering, and were quick to issue each refund as the bills added up. Their follow-up inquiries after each of our pets' injuries were throughtful and very kind. Couldn't have hoped for a better insurance company to take care of our furry babies and we are grateful we found Healthy Paws to care for them as much as we do.
The week our Cocker Spaniel went into surgery I must have recommended this company to a dozen pet parents while at the clinics, to include my best friend who was looking for a trustworthy pet insurance. Everyone who loves their pet need to have a form of insurance that will cover medical bills, because no pet should be put down simply because one isn't able to cover a surgery that could save them and prevent further pain.

They came through for us
We've had ASPCA insurance for our two greyhounds for a few years now, and had submitted claims a few times before, but unfortunately those claims weren't classified as accidents or injuries (we just have the basic level of protection) and we didn't qualify for any reimbursement. In June though, one of our greyhounds had to have emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage, and then follow up treatment when he was bleeding internally. In the end he came through okay, but the bill was certainly pretty high. The vet's office was pretty skeptical about us getting anything back, but I submitted our claim anyway (it's a really easy process, and worth the time), and I'm certainly glad we did! The max refund per incident was only about half of the total amount we had to pay to the vet, but we were extremely glad to get that back! These days everyone is very skeptical about ever seeing any refunds from any kind of insurance company, but I can definitely say now that when accidents happen to your pets, it is more than worth it to have ASPCA Insurance coverage! The claim process is easy and quick, and they let you know about the decision of your claim pretty quickly, and best of all send out that check right away.
