Heatlty Paws is the BEST!!

Words can't describe how highly we'd recommend Healthy Paws. In April 2013 we adopted two 8 week old pug litter mates, Yogi and Boo Boo. After researching multiple pet insurance plans, we chose Healthy Paws days after adoption ($250 deductible, 90% reimbursement). We never anticipated any major medical issues with puppies so young. In August, we took a 10 day vacation and left them with relatives. Upon our return it was obvious Yogi had serious problems walking. We immediately took him to the vet who did x-rays and then referred us to a veterinary neurological clinic. The veterinary neurological clinic performed an MRI and found Yogi, had spinal stenosis that was aggravated by an acute concussive spinal injury. The x-rays and MRI cost over $2,000! The vet submitted the claim to Healthy Paws and we received a check in just over two weeks! Healthy Paws has also contacted us by email to see how Yogi is recovering. What great customer service, if only humans had the same service from their health insurance companies. As for, Yogi, he is recovering slowing, being on crate rest for 4-8 weeks, though he gets more chipper every day. He's looking forward to, again, playing with litter mate and best buddy, Boo Boo.

No hassle, quick processing

Healthypaws is great. We left the claim form with the vet, they faxed it in and we had our check in less than week. No hassle at all.

Great customer service!

Our dog recently had a complicated, severe traumatic tooth fracture. The tooth had to be extracted by a dental veterinarian specialist and our dog also required post-operative medications and follow up. My husband and I, as well as our 9.5 year old dog, were pretty upset and scared about the whole ordeal. Healthy Paws helped ease the stress of this injury and surgery with their great customer service and timely turn around process. My husband told me last week that we have a check coming from Healthy Paws and I was astonished that any insurance company would send payment so quickly. I wish our own insurance policies were this efficient! The customer service department is fantastic and we have been very pleased and satisfied with the handling of our claims. There have been no surprises or "read the fine print" hassles from Healthy Paws. The only thing I think that could use some improvement is being able to submit claims electronically rather than on paper but I understand Healthy Paws works with a lot of animal care providers and this may not be possible. That is the only reason I gave the rating of 9 instead of 10 is having to print out the form and bring to the vet (which we usually forget to do, then we have to send later) rather than an electronic process. Keep up the great service Healthy Paws and I would definitely recommend them!

Great ... thus far

Before we adopted Tank in late July, I already researched pet insurance companies and decided on Embrace. I arranged insurance for him before I even brought him home. I decided the Wellness Rewards was worth the money for us, since the monthly cost is lower than the amount you may use. So far, I have only submitted 2 Wellness claims (his 2 booster shot visits). Both claims were paid in a short time period (a week or less). I'm am currently happy, and hope to remain happy with the decision to purchase insurance on him. I also, hope I only need to use the Wellness portion of our policy.

Thank you

our Harley was diagnosed with cancer in Jan 2013 and was not given much time. It is 7.5 months later and ASPCA has been with us the entire time. they have paid our claims in a timely manner to help with the financial burden of taking care of our baby. They have also called us several times just to check on him. John at ASPCA has been the BEST.

Completely happy :-)

I am very happy with the service and peace of mind i get with Embrace. Everything is very clear and communication is great. I have processed several claims for my two dogs now with no problems.

Service as described

My dog suffered a soft tissue injury. We brought him to the vet, they examined him, took x-rays and diagnosed him, sending us home with pain meds. Our vet submitted to Trupanion and we recieved our reimbursement,EXACTLY as described in the insurance information. Even better: Now that we have had our first claim processed, our vet trusts Trupanion enough to submit claims directly and only bill us the difference! No up front costs at all. It gives me peace of mind to know that my Veterinary clinic trusts the company that much. We are all very happy campers with a very healthy puppy!

AMAZING!!!!!

I have a different pet insurance for my 1st dog that I am not happy with. I found Healthy Paws online and signed up my baby bulldog Asanti with them. It has been nothing but AMAZING. I NOT only received my claim reimbursement quickly but I received an email checking on Asanti. By far the best pet insurance ever!!!

ASPCA experience

Overall we are very happy with ASPCA pet insurance, although the premium does tend to go up year on year (what doesn't?) we have still found it to be beneficial and worthwhile, especially in cases of emergency. It gives us peace of mind to know that if something were to happen to our beloved French Bulldog that we can take her straight to the vets without worrying about cost. There is an annual deductible but after that costs are covered. The claim process is easy and efficient and we are always reimbursed in a timely fashion.
