Roxy's disc rupture
Our dog had a disc rupture. One second she was chasing her ball, the next her right leg was paralyzed. The staff at Healthy Paws were very kind, answering all my questions about my policy. They covered almost all of Roxy's surgery, and yesterday said Roxy's post - surgery rehab will be covered if she needs it. I am so grateful.
The premiums are very reasonable, and worth every dime. Save your family from having to make a terrible choice because of the cost of emergency care, and get Healthy Paws insurance for your pet!

This insurance cheats you!
I have called and emailed over TWENTY TIMES, to get paid on a claim they say they approved M. They no longer respond to requests for assistance, causing an official complaint to the Department of Insurance. They actually keep saying my check is “in the mail”, them claim they cancelled it and sent another. And I’m enrolled in direct deposit! Why are they MAILING checks at all? Read the reviews—- they clearly suck. Do not buy HEALTHY PAWS.

Healthy Paws is the best
Within two days of my dog's surgery I submitted a claim to Healthy Paws. Within 24 hours after that I received a message saying my claim was being processed. Within two more days the message I received outlined the result of the process and the amount of reimbursement that would be coming to me. Today, no more than a week, if that, of submission, I received a check for an amount that made the monthly payments for insurance more than worth it. This kind of service is almost unheard of these days for anything, let alone an insurance claim of any sort. This company is the best.

Great pet insurance!
Healthy Paws is very helpful in case of emergencies with my dog. The process to open a claim is very seamless (you just upload copy of itemized receipt which your vet can provide to you). They process the claim within few days and usually reimburse you without any questions!

Worst Pet Insurance Ever
As a dog parent you would expect some sorta reimbursement from an insurance company since that's what they list on there job as an insurance company. All the claims we would submit would get denied for any sort of refund. This is the example of a fraudulent marketing tactic to get 55 dollars a month for absolutely nothing. My wife and I have called because we do exactly what they ask us as far as medical receipts from the visits. I want a refund for the months we paid since we didn't even get any moneys worth from this product. Please dont waist your time nor money with these people.

Great Company
Our Fig required knee surgery costing over $3000. After surgery, we submitted our claim to Healthy Paws. The process was so easy. In about a weeks time, we had a check allowing us to concentrate on caring for our sweet girl instead of worrying about a huge vet bill.
The company even sent an email inquiring about Fig's recovery. It was so comforting to have Healthy Paws as Fig's health partner!

Healthy Paws is the best pet policy I’ve had
I have dealt with multiple human and pet insurance companies in my lifetime and none have been as easy to deal with as Healthy Paws. The claims submission process is incredibly streamlined, the turnaround time for reimbursement is quick, and it is easy to access benefits. Other companies put up many barriers to accessing benefits, so it is much appreciated to not have to deal with that while also caring for a sick pet. I really couldn’t ask for more, and that is very rare in the world of insurance. Thank you, Healthy Pets, for making the process so easy!

We’re sorry for your frustration regarding your claim reimbursement. Your claim was paid with a check being mailed to you the middle of July. At the beginning of August, you started the process of enrolling into direct deposit, which was completed the middle of August. In the middle of August you notified us that the previously mentioned reimbursement check was not received. A case was made for our Payments Team and at the end of August, a stop payment was placed on the check and your reimbursement was provided by direct deposit.
