Trupanion - Well worth the investment!
We have two cocker spaniels, Molly and Macy, they are now three years old and the light of our lives. My purpose in writing is to pass along our story in hopes of informing other pet parents of the benefits of having pet insurance. What I should say is the benefits of having top-rate pet insurance.
Having loved a chronically ill pet in the past led me to research the many companies who are now offering pet insurance. Believe me, I lit up the internet with searches, questions and policy comparisons. My investigatory work led me to the elimination of many companies and it directed me to Trupanion. That was three years ago and I have not regretted my decision for one moment. Not only have the Trupanion folks supported me monetarily in the care of the girls but they have also given me emotional support with the security of knowing that they do what they say they will do. One of the things that attracted me to Trupanion was their easy to read policy, no gray areas. You know up front what you are getting from Trupanion, their policy guidelines are clear.
Another thing that impressed me was Trupanion's customer service, just as their policy, they do what they say they will do and they are so darned nice about it. Their customer service folks are friendly and very knowledgeable and they were actually the clincher for me when I was making my decision regarding which company to go with. I made phone calls to those on the short list and when I first talked with

thankful for aspca pet insurance
When my 4 year old Chihuahua , Rosie, collapsed and almost died one day I was terrified! Thanks to ASPCA pet insurance I was able to get her immediate help without the financial worry. They covered everything except my deductible, coinsurance and a few charges that were deemed higher than they should be. I recovered all but $300 of my bill! Rosie made a full recovery and is doing great!

LOVING IT!
So happy I cancelled my other pet insurance and went with Healthy Paws. Yes... I have to pay my BMD's pre existing conditions vet bills but that pales by comparison to the benefits we get with Healthy Paws. It's like night an day. No comparison. They are kind, efficient, don't mind answering questions, and very prompt with payment. No squabbling, no excuses, very straightforward. If you purchase a plan this is exactly what you get. They get 10 ********** from Molly and I both. Job well done folks.

Best pet insurance
I didn't think the coverage would be necessary or worthwhile until my young dog's anal glands burst. Embrace reimbursed the full 80 percent quickly. I have since added coverage for my second dog.

No arguments, they deliver on what they promise.
Last February one of my dogs presented very alarming symptoms and was diagnosed with cancer. A month later she was dead and I still had medical bills to pay while dealing with the loss of one of my companions. I also had a healthy 7 year old Japanese Chin, but decided I wanted the piece of mind that comes with an insurance policy. It was difficult finding the right policy for a senior dog, and some companies wouldn't even offer a quote. I will start by saying Healthy Paws was NOT the cheapest quote, but that they answered all of my questions. When I called to speak with a real person, I was on hold for under 3 minutes each time. I scheduled the yearly vet visit for my dog in March 2013 and sent the findings and notes of that visit to H.P. and enrolled my dog with $250 ded/90% coinsurance.
In August, my dog started coughing aggressively and I took her to the vet. She was prescribed antibiotics, cough suppressants and I was told she had a collapsing trachea (common in older snout-free dogs). I sent the bill and notes to Healthy Paws to go towards the deductible. I was already aware that the office visit is not included, and my responsibility to pay as the owner. I received an email stating they needed my dog's medical notes going back to when I adopted her at 8 weeks old. A series of calls and emails to the various offices she had seen in her life took around 30 minutes of my time, and then I sent all my documents to H.P. The next day my claim was processed and

Very happy with Pets Best
Covering our three cats is not cheap, especially our 15-year-old. But we are very happy with Pets Best and feel that we are getting our money's worth. The claims are processed so quickly that it boggles the mind! I sent in claims for two of our cats. One was processed by the next day, and for the other, Pets Best had to contact my vet for more information. Even with that, those claims were processed within a few days. I am happy with the coverage and with the fairness of Pets Best in considering our claims.
