Not Quite Good
Our dog was injured with a result of broken bone. Before Trupanion was willing to pay we had go through a lot of hoops. One of them was their question about our dog being spayed, a dog which was only about 12 weeks old that time. They had her birthday data so why an employee spent time to call us.

Best Pet Insurance
Embrace reviewAngus is my first child. Literally, he opened up my heart in ways that I didnt know could happen. Having Embrace pet insurance has made taking care of and protecting Angus as brainless and as instinctual as he takes care of and protects me. Being that he is an American Staffordshire Terrier, that is saying a lot. It also comes with a unique set of high maintenance and expensive medical concerns. Angus has had 2 TPLOs, 9 mass cell tumors removed, and a near death bout of the doggie flu that came with an 8 days stay at the hospital. Embrace, true to their word never waivered and always paid what I had calculated they should pay based on the benefits we had purchased. It is nice to know that someone thought of having a pet insurance that pays off of the vet's bill and then actually does it. I feel very strongly about recommending them to all pet owners.

I am so happy with Healthy Paws!!
Healthy Paws processed Pucci's claim shortly after I had the Vet's office sign and faxed the claim form for me. I can't believe how promt Healty Paws claims handling is. They also followed-up to check on how Pucci is doing. I wish Health Insurance for humans would handle claims as Healthy Paws and with the same personal touch, and it would be a much happier world.

Thankful for my insurance!
My 10yr old wheaten terrier has had various ear problems over the past few years. Thankfully, I have been able to get her the help she needs and can afford the medications needed thanks to our Trupanion vet insurance. The insurance forms are simple and easy for my vet to fill out and I always get a response within days of mailing it in. I have had vet insurance for both of my wheatens since they were puppies. It is worth every penny knowing that they are covered in case of any illness or accident.

Glad I did not Cancel my Pet Insurance
My 14 year old Dachshund, Gisela, became very ill. I do not know what caused her problem. My speculation is that she ate the remains of a dead rodent in the backyard, but the veterinarian could not give me a definent answer as to what triggered her condition. She had to be hospitalized and placed on IVs, received numerous tests, sent home with medications, and restricted to a special diet. I was contemplating cancelling my pet insurance policy before this incident since she has been very healthy. It is a good thing I did not do so. She has made a full recovery.

What a relief
Oberon nearly died of pancreatitis. Poor little guy was so sick and couldn't eat at all. He was in the hospital for a week, so his bill came to about $3,300, but I only had to shell out about $850. The plan worked as promised.

Happy with this insurance
My dog injured his leg so after two days odd limping went to the vet since seemed not a minor injury. Sedation, xrays and few hundred dollars later determined soft tissue injury only and required rest and pain management to heal. Claim submitted and Trupanion covered xrays, sedation and meds. Processed claim in timely manor and approved.
