Cancer surgery
Healthy paws always pays it's claims promptly. It is such a relief to not worry about getting the surgical treatment my dog Finn needed for the peripheral nerve sheath cancer on his leg and we are starting his radiation treatments soon.

Pet Insurance Review
I have been with Trupanion Insurance for about 4 years now and they have been very quick to respond, and very timely and fair in their compensation for claims.

So grateful we have Embrace
When I heard Seager needed a little surgey to make him better, I was both thankful they could help him and grateful I had Embrace to help with the cost. I do and will continue to tell others how important Pet Insurance is, and of course that Embrace is the best!

Excellent service
When Sweet Pea's eye was punctured by another cat, my regular vet said she would probably totally lose her eye. But he sent me to a vet eye specialist who told me he believed he could save her eye with immediate surgery, but the cost would be between $2,500 and $3,500. I called Trupanion to make sure it would be covered and to get pre-approval. They expedited the pre-approval and the vet did the surgery right then. He was not only able to save her eye, but also her vision in that eye! However, the clinic would not bill Trupanion directly, so I had to pay the charges up front. That pretty much wiped out my bank account and I still had bills to pay before my retirement check at the end of the month. I called Trupanion to see if they could expedite my refund and they processed my claim as quickly as they could. Thanks to the wonderful people at Trupanion, I was reimbursed in 2-3 days instead of the usual 1-2 weeks! Thank you Trupanion!

Muchacho approved!
My boy, Muchacho, developed some problems breathing and needed to have his tonsils removed, palate trimmed, and nares widened. I was prepared to pay it out of pocket, but Embrace and my vet coordinated all the paperwork and saved me quite a chunk of change. Even my vet, who traditionally recommends another insurance company to his bulldog owners, looked at all the documentation from Embrace and was quite impressed (perhaps shocked) with what Embrace was willing to cover. I think you'll probably see him send a few clients your way in the future.
Thanks, Embrace! Muchacho is completely back to his goofy active self, and I appreciate you sharing the financial load.

Good coverage but slow claims processing
The people at Embrace are friendly and helpful, and the coverage is comprehensive and includes conditions other companies exclude, but it takes a couple of months to get a claim processed. (I received word today, 11/27, that my claim from 9/25 has been processed.) When I asked why, the answer was that they are training new employees. However, I submitted two claims over a 6 month period, and the wait time was close to two months both times, so that answer doesn't seem sufficient. Still, I appreciate the level of coverage and would recommend the company on the basis of that.

Great company...if you never make a claim
Petsecure is happy to take your monthly premiums, but if you have to submit a claim - be prepared to be disappointed. Claims take over a month to be paid out, and then they get revenge on you having the audacity to submit a claim by increasing your premiums and decreasing your coverage. Our dog had a skin condition which required diagnostics and treatment, the claims were paid out (albeit slowly) and our dog made a full recovery. After being off medication with no claims for 7 months, we received a letter that our claims would only be covered at 60% going forward! They look at your previous 2 years of claim history - so if you have a large claim, expect to have your co-pay increased for a 2 full years after the claim. Not worth it!
