My boy cat Sam started looking terrible a few years ago. We had him insured along with my other cat. We took him to the vet and after some expensive tests and an afternoon stay, we found out he was a diabetic cat! I sent in the claims to my insurance and was amazed at not only how quickly they responded with reimbursement but also notes saying thank you for taking good care of him and asking how he was, and most importantly, the coverage was better than my own health care!! Since that 1st claim I have had to make many more for syringes and insulin and the system for claims in upgraded from checks in the mail to direct deposit. It's great. I know when my kitties get sick, I won't have to have that extra worry of how to pay for it. It will be covered and covered immediately.

I am so very thankful that I have chosen Healthy Paws for pet insurance! The coverage is OUTSTANDING. My 5 1/2 year old dachshund has had 2 major surgeries in less than 3 months. One surgery on his neck and the other on his back. Each surgery was over $5000 and Healthy Paws has reimbursed me 90% for both!!! Second year with Embrace... Only claims so far have been wellness claims...but the went perfectly... That is for both dogs too. ... highly recommends!

After I went through the initial cost/benefit analysis and decided that it was worthwhile to get a policy for my pure bread Bengal Cats. I have been very happy with Healthy Paws. In the past two years, my premiums have remained the same and I have never been denied coverage for the claims that I have submitted and the customer service is the gold standard that many other companies should strive to achieve. I come home from the vet, scan my vet bill, email the claims department w/attachments, and with the same day I get an acknowledgement and depending on time of day, I get a settlement form with the amount that will be covered that same day, within a week (7 days) I get a check in the postal mail. I am very pleased. In 2013 - my premium 395, 721 in claims, 312 in reimbursement. I cant say enough, even if I 'self insured', to put my premium in a savings account, I would have been out of pocket this year and I would not have had the peace of mind, knowing that while my cat was undergoing a medical issue, I did not have to weigh out whether I could afford to continue with the diagnosis and treatment of an accident/illness. I no longer have to worry about 'what if' and can concentrate on getting my pet well, simply because I have insurance coverage for my pets. I was with another carrier for three years and every year my premiums would increase. The first year, it was less than 10% so I thought that is reasonable, but the third year it increased by 50%. But our vet worked with Trupanion and we were able to get it resolved in a timely manner. Trupanion kept us abreast with e-mails and calls as to the status of claim. They were great! Trupanion paid our vet directly and we just paid the remaining balance which came to a little over 35 bucks. This is great! My pup is herself again and we are SUPER HAPPY with Trupanion. I am recommending this insurance to all my pet loving friends and family. They are there 24/7 and truly helpful.

Petsecure has been part of our family/pet plan for 15+ yrs. We have never had a claim that was not paid within 10 business days. On one occassion our dog Sandi had surgery, came home and our other dog helped him out of his protective collar. Sandi was back in the hospital the same day as he re-opened everything again. Same surgery and we were covered for both! They have helped us through many tears. I recommend this company to many people.

We have 2 Corgis and have been insured with Healthy Paws for over two years. During this time our Corgis have had the following surgeries: ACL repair, two back surgeries (one for each dog) and eye surgery. Had it not been for Healthy Paws, this would have cost me thousands of dollars. Instead I paid only my yearly deductible ($50) and 10%. Healthy Paws customer service is THE BEST I've ever experienced. They are very quick to process claims (the eye surgery claim was processed in less than 24 hours). The other claims were processed within 48 hours and I received the checks within 2 days. The staff is courteous, professional and they truly care about your pets.
