Easy to use and great customer service!
Used the wellness benefit to pay for a spay and gastroplexy on my bloodhound. Easy to print out claim form and have the vet fax it for me. My claim was paid within 2 weeks. The whole time the customer service was excellent with emails keeping me up to date on the claim status. Embrace even automatically changed my bloodhounds status to spayed and saved me money for next year. Haven't had yo use the emergency coverage and hipe I don't have to but I'm keeping the coverage for as long as I can.

Healthy Paws is outstanding
We have Healthy Paws for our Basset Hound Charley. The premium is very reasonable and claims are processed promptly. Charley became ill with pancreatitis last week, and he saw his vet on Thursday and Friday. Both claims were processed by Friday afternoon, and the reimbursement is great. They sent an email this morning asking how he is doing. Happy to say he went for his final checkup this morning & all is well. We recommend Healthy Paws whenever we can. Our vet is totally impressed with our coverage.
Thank you for your genuine concern and caring for our furry loved ones!

Simply outstandung Surgery
Our vet suggested Embrace pet insurance and we couldn't have been more satisfied. Other pet owners seem astonished when I tell them not only do we have pet insurance but we have a wonderful company. Two ACL surgeries have been handled promptly and with friendliness. I have told everyone to call Embrace.

Best pet insurance company - period.
I did a lot of research before deciding to go with Healthy Paws - coverage, benefits, deductible, etc. I'd had a very negative experience with another pet insurance company in the past, so I was skeptical to say the least, but Healthy Paws has changed my mind - they have been nothing but wonderful! We adopted our dog as a 5-month-old puppy back in May, and unfortunately, she's had a string of procedures and hospitalizations in the months since. Healthy Paws has paid our claims in a timely manner, the coverage has been exactly as stated on their site (no surprises), and they've been incredibly nice about it as well. I'd recommend Healthy Paws (and do) to anyone.

Excellent Service
Our dog experienced back pain and was barely able to walk. Our vet gave him some muscle relaxants and did a series of laser treatments to relieve swelling. I was worried they wouldn't cover the treatments because they are not commonly used. Embrace covered the treatments and we are grateful that they did. Our dog is so much better and we used very little medication.

best pet insurance. Fast service
My 3 year old Maltese-Poodle mix was attacked by 2 boxers while I was taking her for a walk. A portion of her intestine was sticking out from the wound she sustained. She had emergency surgery and stayed in the hospital for 2 days. I was surprised at how fast HealtyPaws responded to my claim. I received a reply from them 4 hours after I submitted my claim. It is also reassuring to know that they will pay 90 percent of the total bill. Getting Healthy Paws insurance for my dog was the smartest thing I've done.

Refund after teeth extractions
My dog had to have teeth extractions related to gum disease. Once I submitted my claim, Trupanion kept me informed about my claim and refunded me promptly after they had followed up on my dogs history and treatment.

Best Pet Insurance I've Had
I dropped the pet insurance I had with another popular plan, and signed with Healthy Paws in February, 2013. In September, 2013, we discovered Zeus (my loving rescued pit-mix) had highly abnormal liver enzymes. Zeus was referred to an internal medicine specialist at the Veterinary Specialty Animal Hospital where he underwent a slew of diagnostic tests, including ultrasound and laparoscopic liver biopsy. We are still looking for a definitive diagnosis. Specialty animal vets are very expensive, and vet costs to date are just shy of $3,000. Healthy Paws has come through like I never expected. There were no hassles, and claims have been paid quickly and as promised. I feel a little guilty having filed claims so soon after Zeus' policy became effective, but as I said, there were absolutely no questions or hold-ups. Customer Service is wonderful to work with. Healthy Paws has exceeded all my expectations, and I am so glad I made the change! I highly recommend!

Healthy Paws is a no-brainer
Healthy Paws is the best insurance available. I cannot stop bragging about how smart I am to have hooked up with them a couple of years ago. In addition to courteous, swift service, they offer the kind of coverage you need: comprehensive. It's also totally affordable and proves itself well worth the investment again and again.
I have a young dog who was diagnosed this year with what my vet called "the worst hip dysplasia" she'd ever seen. He had to have his whole hip replaced-- the dysplasia was so bad you could feel the head of his femur through his skin, and it had worn away part of the edge of his hip socket. Most insurance companies don't cover hip dysplasia. It's too expensive, and I'm sure its very prevalent. I will never stop thanking my lucky stars that Buddy was covered with Healthy Paws.
I tell everyone with a pet to get insured with Healthy Paws ASAP. My vet is now singing their praises, too. With Healthy Paws, I know I'll never end up in a situation where I have to choose between the health of my best friend and years of debt.
