This Christmas, Momo, our curious cat, ate a pompom and needed emergency surgery during an ice storm. Trupanion very quickly provided written pre-approval so we could go ahead with surgery knowing our insurance would cover the expensive procedure. Trupanion paid 80% of total cost of Momo's care without hassle or delay. The standard of customer service was perfect. I was always able to reach someone on the phone who could explain our options. Thanks to our Trupanion insurance Momo got excellent care and made a full recovery. This was my first experience with pet insurance and I am a very happy customer.

As first time dog owner, it is also my first time to get health insurance for my pet. I have an 11-month old Golden Retriever. He's young and in perfect condition but maintaining his good health could get expensive. I get him yearly supply of K9 Advantix (flea and tick prevention) and Panacur-C (dewormer) and take him to the vet annually. This is also the same year, we decided to get him neutered. Coincidentally, he had some eye infection at the beginning of this year after his stay with dog trainer. Embrace Insurance made the process easy. I just fax them over the claim form with invoice and viola 2-3 days later I get my reimbursement directly to my bank account. They email me the result of their review within the next business day. You can enroll for direct deposit, check status of your claim and email them your questions and they rest assured you get a prompt and courteous response. So far, I made 3 claims and I'm happy with the service I am getting.

I was pleasantly surprised by this insurance. Initially there is some work you need to do to get everything running smoothly, but once you do it, it all pays for itself.

I have a 12.5 yo large breed dog, with a few health issues including cancer. Pets Best has been amazing, helping us keep her comfortable and happy in her later years. I'm always amazed when they pay a claim, with no questions or hassle, since she has multiple, expensive problems. I also have two young dogs who haven't had claims, but there's no way I'll ever go without vet insurance after my experience. I don't write online reviews often, and my friends are all annoyed with me for bugging them to get pet insurance. This is just a good financial decision, all around.

Researched the 3 top pet insurance companies that were referred to me. Embrace seemed reasonably priced and I didn't feel confused by weird terms. They were great with reimbursing me for wellness although I maxed out after just two visits. (NYC vet prices are pretty high). I did have minor billing issue but their customer service department was very quick to respond and settled it immediately. So far so good.

My kitty was in a bad condition on Christmas Day (2013) and needed major surgery for bladder stones. Some people laugh at me when I tell them that I have pet insurance, but I am the one that is laughing last! I was with another pet insurance company prior to joining Embrace and let me just say that Embrace is FAR better. There are different tiers you can choose, but I chose the higher one with more coverage. Sure I pay more a month, but it worth it in the end, especially for surgeries, unexpected illness, or overall wellness care. His surgery cost over $5,000. Embraced reimbursed me for most of it!!!!!!!!!! Also my claims turn-a-round was fast. If you are currently shopping for pet insurance, I highly recommend Embrace!

I was extremely stressed when Bailey became ill and needed major surgery. Trupanion was awesome, they emailed me within a couple of hours of submitting the estimate from the Hospital and called me personally to see how Bailey was and to offer support. Very pleasant people to deal with and re-assured me that everything would be processed as soon as possible.
