Hopefully you never need to have expensive surgery for your pet but if you do healthypaws is the way to go. They covered everything they said they would and once all the paperwork was submitted they processed my claim with two days. Very professional, very quick, and very friendly.

I have had this policy for my pets since 2008 and have had claims. Within the past year 2 if my dogs needed ACL repairs. One had 2 legs and the other had 1 leg. I had a fear that their policy would be cancelled or premium raised. I just got the renewal and it went up over $200. When I called and asked about it of course they said it was about age and demographics. At this rate i will be priced out of insurance very fast

I've compared pet health insurances, I didn't know that Geico has one. Thus, thought of trying it.. and last Saturday I went to my Vet for my puppy's wellness. Submitted my claim Sunday, today.. Monday I received an email that I'm going to receive my claim check soon. That was a swift process! I'll tell my friends about Geico pet insurance.

I have been insured with Healthy Paws for almost three years now. I have two Rottweilers, and one 12 year old cat on the policy. Recently, my female Rottie was diagnosed with Nasal Aspergillosis, a rare fungal infection that requires surgery to stop it from spreading to the brain, in which would be fatal. The tests necessary to diagnose her required sedation and included an MRI. Healthy Paws approved my claim the same day, and it had the reimbursement check one week later, which happened to be the same day as her surgery. That claim also was approved immediately, as well as her medications. They really love animals at Healthy Paws, and it shows. I have received emails from them checking on her to see how she is doing. It's so nice to be with an insurance company with a heart!

Trupanion very quickly serviced our claim and met all our expectations. They are everything we hoped for in a pet insurance company when we signed on.
