Check is always in my hand in less than 2weeks!!!

Thank God I have only had wellness claims-but the speed in processing is great! From the time I mail the claim forms, get my acknowledgement e-mail, then get my reimbursement check is always within 2 weeks!!! I will now give them my checking account # that way they can do a direct deposit for future claims. I am thrilled with the service I have received thus far! Thank you Embrace!

after first claim. quick turnaround for claims pro

Customer service at this company is good. When u call them they are very helpful.Unfortunately I have had to use this service a number of times in my puppy's short life, but so far they have covered every thing like they said at 90% . Thank goodness it looks like our dog is better now. Hopefully we won't need to use it again for a long while!

Embrace is great!

In November we brought home the love of our lives, Cali the English Bulldog! The first thing my father said to me was "are you going to get pet insurance"? With the English Bulldog breed they are susceptible to many health issues so it seemed like a no brainer to get insurance and go with Embrace. We have spent over $2500 at the vet since November and Embrace has covered 80% of those illness claims. They are timely with their refunds and keeping in touch with me regarding claims. I even have been in contact with Laura Bennett the CEO who personally looked into a second appeal claim for me and got me the refund! I couldn't be happier with Embrace as a whole. I am so happy to have them "have our backs" in case something goes wrong (God forbid) with our fur baby, Cali!!

Pet insurance saved my dog's life.

We enrolled our beagle, Jed, in Embrace about 2 years ago after he had already had some minor health issues and we realized that we simply could not afford to pay for any major issues that might arise over time. At the time we debated whether or not the premiums were cost effective. There is no more debate any longer! Jed recently became very sick and required gall bladder surgery. The decision to go ahead with live-saving care rested on the hope that Embrace would actually cover 80% of the cost after the $1000 deductible was met as advertised in the plan we chose. Over the course of 8 days we spent over $8,000 in veterinary care. Embrace reimbursed almost $6,000. Our vet told us afterward that most dogs he has seen who were as sick as Jed usually die. Jed was lethargic, jaundiced, and unable to keep down food or water prior to his surgery. Post surgery care required another 5 days in the pet hospital before he was ready to come home. Three weeks later, Jed is back to his usual happy, energetic beagle self. Embrace pet insurance was the best decision we made.

Better off putting your money in a mayonnaise jar

Stay away. You'd be better off putting money in a mayonnaise jar in the backyard every month. At least you'd have a way to pay the vet bills. We had been customers for several years and never made a claim. When we really needed it, their deceptive and sleazy renewal policy did not pay. Our dog developed glaucoma in one eye. The eye needed to be removed because of the severity. Our regular vet referred us to a specialist. The vet suspected valley fever had attacked the eye and wanted to run tests to make sure our dog was healthy enough for the surgery. This meant a two week delay between diagnosis and surgery. Those two weeks took us into a new month and therefore a new policy. ASPCA refused to cover the surgery because the illness manifested before the new policy. They do not consider your payment as a continuation of the policy, but a new policy. It's like you have purchased the policy for the first time. You can buy extra "bridge" coverage for the policy to be treated as a continuation. This of course is not stated up front. Every insurance agent I have talked to about this has been horrified that this insurance operates like this.

What a relief!

My baby had a moment of naughtiness that sent him to the vet...he untucked my comforter and proceeded to chew on the thread that held it together. He ate quite a bit and then had some that was hanging from his mouth...all the way from his stomach! My vet fixed him up within a few days and I was so happy to learn his insurance would cover this...I get picked on all the time because he has insurance, just as a person would, but I had the last laugh when I was able to take him to the vet, get him the care he needed, and be able to afford the payment. Thank you Trupanion!!
