New and very Pleased
I'm new to Embrace (within the year) and was skeptical at first. I left AKC due to their enormous price hikes. What I found was a nice and extremely helpful staff. Then, when my newfie had a problem, the staff assisted me and the coverage has been exactly as advertised. I'm pleasantly pleased and will be remaining here for a long time to come.

I am so pleased, no hassels your pet is first
I am so pleased with Embrace. My golden retriever got a very serious eye infection. Kiva was one year old and she needed immediate specialized treatment. Without Embrace standing behind my policy, I don't know how I would have paid for all the specialized treatment she needed. My Kiva would not be the same dog without Embrace.

great company, fast and easy claims service
I used to have VPI and heard about Pet's Best superior payments on a Sirius Radio/Martha Stewart Living show, so decided to switch and I couldn't be happier. Pet's Best seems to pay about 40-50% of the vet bills, much higher than other companies I'm aware of. I signed up my Rhodesian Ridgeback when he was about two or three, and the premium has only moved up slightly in eight years, and is now about $200 a year. Some years we've only done his $100 annual exam, but it has really paid off during the years when there's an incident. Over the last eighteen months, my dog had several mishaps: a bad spider bite and a hygroma following, a trip on the stairs, and he needed some age-related joint care. Pet's Best has paid over $3000 of the bills, nearly half, so it's really paid off. This isn't one of those insurance companies that punish you for using your insurance. My vet keeps my signature on file and files all the claims; the check usually arrives in about a week. In my opinion, this is the best pet insurance out there.

Outstanding - again
Our 5 year old lab mix just underwent her second ACL surgery in just over a year. Both times Healthy Paws were nothing but amazing. In the recent operation, we scanned and uploaded the surgery bill to the website, and received a check in about 4 days. Truly outstanding.

Embrace Delivers on Their Promises
Embrace has been transparent and responsive from the start - when tragedy struck for us with one of our pets, they stood 100% behind every commitment they made on our policy - the reps are a pleasure to deal with. The paperwork is a hassle as it would be expected with any claims submission with any insurance, but once completed, they review and reimburse very quickly and fairly. Top notch operation!

Friendly and expedient claim
Trupanion staff were very friendly and helpful when dealing with my claim. Didn't take long to approve. They were also thorough in the back checks to verify my cats data.

It's all the little things that add up.
Speaking from experience, do not purchase pet insurance just for coverage of a major accidents. This was the original reason we took out pet insurance for our dog. It has turnied out to be one of the best decisions we ever made due to the fact that our dog has had so many minor problems that have worsened to major ones. It started out with an infection of his paw and escalated into an infection throughout his whole body. Our insurance with ASPCA has been with us through it all and continues to support us with its financial support of getting our dog well. It will definitely be the insurance we purchace in the years to come. Thank you! Bob and Julie Birch

ASPCA insurance does not provide stated coverage.
I had this insurance for three years with no claims, but when my dog developed unresolved diarrhea, weight loss and anxiety I had my vet examine her. He diagnosed colitis and prescribed an oral paste for the diarrhea, anxiety meds to calm her from the cramping and diarrhea, and a prescription probiotic food additive to allow her gut to absorb her food. The prescription dog food was expensive, but I did accept that as my expense to help her calm her gi system down-- but the insurance would not pay for the paste for diarrhea (really???) or for the anxiety prescription (did the colitis cause the anxiety, or vice-versa?), nor did they pay for the prescribed probiotic needed to help her gut calm down and absorb the food. This is not something I can buy over-the-counter, it was a prescription by her vet. I trust that my vet has the medical training to know what was needed, and she has resolved the episode of diarrhea. I cancelled my subscription to this non-insurance-I'm better off to put that monthly fee aside each month and pay for veterinary bills on my own.
