Bubba was having diarrhea problems. After testing, he was diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. This will be a life long problem but controllable. This was my first claim. I couldn't believe how quickly and easily the claim was settled. They even wrote asking how Bubba was doing afterwards. I had even called to ask a question about my scanned invoices ( thought I might have messed them up). Their representative couldn't have been nicer. She even asked after Bubba.

My little Abby is very rambunctious and always getting into trouble. Needless to say, I was at the vet quite a bit when she was a puppy. Whether it was for illness or wellness, ASPCA was and is always prompt with their service. Thank you so much for covering her!!

We chose Healthy Paws based on other reviews online, but no personal experience. Well now we can attest to the fact that they are a company that delivers! We've had a couple of hospitalizations with our two french bulldogs that were scary, but we didn't have to worry about covering the bills, because Healthy Paws delivered on its coverage agreement with no hassles. The hospital submitted the bill directly to Healthy Paws, and within two weeks we had a reimbursement check and an email inquiring into the progress of our baby. While camping on our way to our grandson's birthday, Roadie was bitten by something. He was staggering. began falling over and his gums were white. We raced to the nearest vet, he was treated, recovered,,and we even made it to the party. Pets Best covered all the charges after the deductibles: emergency call, lab works and meds. What a relief!!

Coverage is great. We only selected insurance for illness not wellness. Embrace was the only company that would cover ortho problems for our Bernese Mountain Dog. claims are processed very quickly and accurately.

We are the fur-parents that had to treat a boxer-mix for lymphoma two and a half times….without insurance. Ouch. Since that little guy passed, we decided to get insurance on our two elderly dogs (one adopted as a puppy and the other adopted at 8yo). We are now treating two dogs with hip dysplasia (rimadyl, Adequan), incontienence (Proin), ear necrosis, gingival hyperplasia (twice resected), and now immuned-mediated hemolytic anemia with a possible adrenal gland tumor. Whew! Luckily Embrace has come through and has really helped us provide the best care for our dogs.

Our dog, Oliver, stopped eating about a month ago. A battery of tests; including x-rays, an ultrasound, and blood panels have proven inconclusive: We are reluctant to Scope his stomach in his fragile state. Our Veterinarian has prescribed a low-dose trial of Prednisone to stimulate his appetite and, hopefully,"turn off" any auto-immune response he may be having. Oliver's condition is guarded, as he still isn't eating consistently (scary, as he is an 8.5 pound dog). Healthy Paws insurance has been one bright spot in all of this. Despite the expense involved, Healthy Paws has funded much of the cost (we are on a 90% reimbursement plan after office visit fees and a $100 yearly deductible)and this coverage has saved us thousands of dollars. We feel so fortunate to have this insurance company by our side: They processed our claims within a week and even checked up on Oliver's condition via email asking us to give him a big hug from them - in this day and age, who does that??? :) I truly feel Healthy Paws could teach the big human health companies a thing or two about coverage and customer service! You may want to Google the June 2014 Los Angeles Times article comparing Pet Insurance coverage: In summary, Healthy Paws rated #1 and the review was so glowing that the reporter even disclosed that he signed his dog up for coverage. This is the best insurance my dog (and my family) have ever been involved in.

My 13 yr old Rottweiler had a growth beneath her eye that needed to be removed. The surgery went well. The claim form was easy to fill out/submit and the refund was in my account in a very short time. Having insurance for your pet whether they are old or young will give you peace of mind that you can take care of your "family member" in an emergency as well as elective care. Wouldn't be without it!
