Processed very fast!
The claim was processed very fast! My claim was a small amount, and it went towards my deductible so I didn't get reimbursed, but regardless I was still very satisfied with the speed of the process! It makes me feel better that if an unfortunate bigger illness or injury were to happen that was much more costly (::knock on wood:: that this doesn't happen!) I would be at ease knowing that we would have one less stress off our shoulders and could focus on our dog! :)

We have been clients of Trupanion for 8 years
We have been clients of Trupanion for the last 8 1/2 years. And the claim process was easier for our dog then it was for ourselves. One can literally file a claim in less then 5 minutes. No Kidding!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is the best as we have tried three others and they all turn down legitimate claims.
I have not had one issue with filing claims with Nationwide. The claim form is easy to complete as other insurances want way too much documentation from the vet.

Too many requests for additional information
There are too many instances where additional information is needed and no payment is processed. You have the vet name, you should ask the vet's office directly for additional records instead of burdening the patient with it.

Nationwide has exceeded my expectations!
I have loved having Nationwide pet insurance so far... we decided to try pet insurance for awhile, I wasn't totally convinced it was going to be worth it. But it has been such a good experience, I will probably keep it as long as we have pets! Nationwide has saved us from catastrophe and really came through when we needed them to... they have convince3d me that this was a good decision after all. Thanks!

Horrible customer service has really gone way downhill in the past 1.5 years.
I have been with Nationwide, previously VPI, since 1998 for 3 Dobermans. I used to rave about the company but there has been a drastic change for the worse over the past 1.5 years. Claim payment times have gone from 2 weeks to over 30 days. Claims that are submitted get "lost" and not entered into their system on a timely basis. They claim they never get faxed claims even when I have fax receipts showing that same were received. When I call reps are rude and provide incorrect info. I will never insure another dog with Nationwide.

Amazing!!!!
