Not what I signed up for explained wrong
I’m disappointed. When I chose Trupanion, the way the lady who helped me set it up said I’d have a $300.00 deductible per year. I have submitted claims for a few different things and it seems that each thing has a deductible? I don’t understand this at all. I have submitted for paw problem, ear infection, UTI etc. I’ve definitely met the 300.00 but the paperwork put it towards different problems. This is not right. I have actually been looking into a different insurance now because I feel Trupanion has definitely steered me wrong. Very upset

Great service for my lets
Our 2 cats and 1 dog are insured with Healthy Paws. The dog recently had an injury to her tail and Healthy Paws has helped us going through surgery and recovery with ease.

Expensive Mystery Ailment Paid For
Our normally social and affectionate 6 year old Poodle was behaving beyond strangely. Hiding, trembling, squealing at the touch. After 2 days we were extremely concerned that there was some undetectable injury, bite, or infection that could have serious health implications. We took her to an emergent veterinary hospital where a physical exam showed no trauma or obvious signs of infection. Tests run by her regular doctor also revealed a dog in perfect health. After a few days, she returned to normal and we all concluded that the episode was a post traumatic, emotional reaction to something that happened to her which we didn't see, but which nonetheless affected her deeply. By the end of the week we had our dog back and several hundred dollars in medical bills, which Pets Best reimbursed. Our story couldn't have ended better and is proof positive that insurance is well worth the investment. Thanks to you all.

They were quick easy to deal with compassionate and very adequate with reimbursement for Teddy's surgery
Here is the comment I left the company after they inquired about Teddy's recovery from his surgery:
Thanks so much for your interest in Teddy!! Teddy is doing very well after needing a miracle surgery to save him! We though it was going to be a routine visit for some constipation and other "rear end issues" but my wife called me hysterical saying he has Bloat and that an emergency surgery was needed and that it wasn't looking very good. Thankfully, our vet Dr. was able to perform a successful surgery and although he was in pretty bad shape the first few days he has shown great improvement and looks to be passed all his problems!!
I want to thank your company for the quick and very adequate reimbursement for Teddy's medical costs! It has been a Godsend. I will totally recommend your company to any pet owner I know!!
