First and foremost, I have experienced nothing but great customer service. I filed my first claim and it was taken care of quickly and easily as expected. I would score a 10, however some points are lost for the fact that my premium increased after 1 year, substantially. However, because they have great customer service, they worked with me to figure out a way to make it work and for that I am thankful and grateful. The key will be the following years.

My puppy was spayed. It took me a long while to decide to do it, but after her procedure I was quickly reimbursed for her procedure and even the pre-lab bloodwork

Not enough paws to tell Nationwide Pet Insurance how much they are appreciated by Honor, our little minidachs(teckel). He took Winners his last show and next month we plan to start working on his majors again in York, PA. Honor came to us from Houston, TX. He is a lovely red smooth with much black overlay so he looks smokey to black. He came to us with hookworms from Brazil (worked their way up to the Houston area.) It took a year and a half to kill them. He had an emergency and we had to have him treated because of an abscessed anal gland that nearly exploded. All of our teckels have been been bitches and they all let us know if they needed expressing by scooting. Honor, our first dog, did not. He started licking and when checked, we found out his way of speak about the problem. At each event, we incurred large expense and each time our fabulous pet insurance generously covered Honor. We spent Christmas Eve at the Emergency Hospital. Honor was walking in our park (on leash, of course) but there was strong wind that blew a limp leaf the size of a dinner plate dead on to his face. He acted stunned, but it was dark and rainy. The next morning he had a golf ball sized abscess under his eye beside his nose. Spiders often live on leaves in trees. The young vet performed lavage and said he didn't think it was car nasal. Teeth looked fine; no bad breath (we brush his teeth.) It turned out to be a bite from a large spider. It is now becoming hard to see where the two fangs injected the venom so we can probably show Honor by next month. Once more, we were reimbursed by this super pet insurance. It is a very good and trusty company

Been an Embracer for 3 years but just had my first claims. Unfortunately, they were big ones for diagnostics, surgery, and treatment for pancreatic cancer. An emotional time, and when I filled my first batch of claims and the status erroneously showed "waiting for information for preexisitng conditions" I suspected efforts to deny the claims. But the error was fixed immediately and my claims paid promptly. Thank you Embrace, and I'm sorry I was so quick to suspect you wouldn't do the right thing when you did.

After adopting a 9 year old dog previously and knowing that I would pay way more than I ever thought I would pay to keep my dog alive and healthy, Nationwide pet insurance gives me the peace of mind that I can budget for his health care expenses by making regular trips to the Vet and if he needs expensive critical care, Nationwide will cover a large part of the expense.

I really like this insurance the only thing I do not like is that they ask me several questions when I 1st signed up for insurance My dog was a puppy and they put me in for pre existing conditions that my dog does not have. should not do this for a puppy.

This is the best insurance I've ever heard of. They are very friendly and knowledgable when I call. My dogs have had serious illnesses which were very expensive. I wouldn't have been able to help them without this insurance.

Max was diagnosed with renal lymphoma and congestive heart failure. I called Nationwide immediately, and the agent was very sympathetic and explained my plan to me. I was thrilled to hear that everything would be covered, including his chemotherapy. He was in the hospital for a full week before he could come home. He now has weekly chemotherapy visits. I paid over $10,000 so far and everything was covered! It was so great to just tell the doctors to do whatever they needed to do to care for Max and not have to work about the money. I was able to place my full focus on Max, and not the cost of his treatment. Thank you so much Nationwide! I have been telling everyone my amazing experience with Nationwide. Thanks to Nationwide and all of the doctors, Max is now in partial remission and his EKG is back to normal, after just over a month!!!
