Our maltipoo has been insured since she was 2 months old and had been without incident for almost 8 years. She ran into some serious congenital health complications and we would have had to make a very difficult decision if we hadn’t had Trupanion pet insurance. My first Trupanion claim.
It went very well. In hindsight, I should examine my deductible though for the future. A $200 deductible from a $502 vet bill is quite a chunk. This was my first claim on my 22 month old feline, and hopefully my last. But I still have a follow-up appointment, and I do not even know if that will even be part of the same claim, and if it will be covered on the same deductible already paid.

Easy and fast
My dog needed staples in her foot from getting hurt playing and I put the claim in thru the VitusVet app the same day, my claim was done in 3 days and in 5 I had the money in my account! Fast and easy!

Trupanion comes through when needed most
My 9-year cocker-spaniel, Clover, had a most unfortunate traumatic experience with glaucoma and her left eye was removed. This was very traumatic to me but every claim, except one, that was submitted to trupanion by Clovers vet and the surgeon treating her was handled quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the medication we're using for her existing eye was covered because the condition was caused by the glaucoma in the eye that was removed.

Awesome company
I highly recommend your services. Your customer service is awesome and there to answer any questions. Molly has had surgery for cancer a few times over the years and just recently had a bad tooth removed. You process and send claims out quickly. This has helped us out tremendously being able to not worry if something arises and could possibly having a large vet bill. Thank you for all that you do!!
