We adopted a rescue dog in January and thought pet insurance was a good investment just in case. Our good buddy broke his foot at the dog park a few months later, and ASPCA was great about taking and quickly processing our claims from multiple vets over the course of the treatment and recovery period. Additionally, the customer service is very friendly and seems to genuinely care about our dog.

I am very glad i subscribe to this insurance, it helps manage my dogs' healthcare. It is quite easy to file claims and the response is usually quite fast. Also lovely customer service staff, always very helpful

I chose HealthyPaws after essentially reviewing every major pet insurance company. Attracted by the rates, few care exclusions (except the typical ones every company has), and the high reimbursement rate, I went with them. Over the years, I've only had to submit a couple of minor claims as my dog is relatively healthy. However, when he was diagnosed with having two mast cell tumors that needed to be surgically removed, I was naturally concerned about whether reimbursing such a high amount would end up being a hassle. Not at all. I just uploaded the receipt (you can even do it by taking a pic of the receipt with your phone!) and waited for the deposit in my account. The reimbursement came in as exactly the amount I'd calculated (90% of all services, surgery, and medicine - essentially the entire cost of the procedure and care with the exception of the 'office fee', which is always excluded). I will note that they were experiencing 'delayed claim processing times' when this happened, but I got an email indicating the status, and the claim was reimbursed within the new timeframe I was given (about 10 business days). It was a very straightforward, painless process and I honestly wouldn't ask to change anything about it. All insurance claims should be this simple!

Having pet insurance for Archie has allowed me to take the most care of him as I'm not worried about the cost of taking him to the vet as he's still growing up. I will definitely continue to use the service as he gets older!

This year our dog has visited the vet more than in her 3 years of life! I am so grateful for the coverage with Nationwide Pet Insurance. The extracted cracked tooth was an unexpected and untimely cost, but we were refunded in such a short period of time after submitting our claim. There is not enough space on this form for me to write how thankful I am to Healthy Paws. My dog has a series of seizures which required hospitalization and long term treatment (including chemo). Just to give you an idea, the first few days of the ICU were about $3,000.00. Six month in, the healthcare expenses have been closer to 9K. As promised, Healthy Paws covered 90 percent of the treatment and processed all the reimbursements in a matter of days. We were so impressed. Turns out our dog has better health insurance than we do! I would strongly recommend anyone with a pet to purchase Healthy Paws insurance.

This was our first time filing a claim with Pets Best in the two years we have had insurance. Our pup had an accident and needed immediate eye surgery. It can be very difficult to need to spend such a large amount of money on the spot, and not be sure if you will get any of it back. But Pets Best really made this experience extremely easy. It was so easy to file a claim, and we were reimbursed quickly!
