I have to say up front, my wife handles all of the claim paperwork, but from I have seen it is very straight forward and much easier and simpler then the previous pet insurance we had, which is why we have stuck with VIP/ Nationwide. While the other insurance talks a good game, VIP, plays the insurance game to the benefit of the Pet and the owners. Our new puppy, coming in late September will be enrolled as soon as possible once we acquire her. For creatures that can not talk, or complain, they are treated like royalty by VIP, who really stand by what they say to get you to sign on with them.

Trupanion has been a God send to me. Certainly when you take out insurance you hope you will never need to use it. My one 12yr old dog has had so many medical challenges i.e. diabetes, now CHF & heart disease. With Trupanion I am able to financially take care of her & provide the best quality of life before we ultimately say good bye. Without Trupanion this may never have been possible. Claims are paid in a timely manner eliminating the financial burden. At least I know she has had the best of care. Thank you to all the staff at Trupanion.

My claims are paid fast and the ability to fax claims works for me.

We had AKC with our mixed breed Jack since the beginning of this year (2018). We adopted a Australian Shepherd pup and spoke with Amy who thoroughly explained all our options for what would be the best coverage for her and Jack. I didn't feel she was pushing any one policy; she answered all our questions, and we are very satisfied with such excellent customer service.

I am absolutely thoroughly satisfied with my pet insurance. It has become invaluable given what the cost at veterinarians are. I’ve now had to use it on both of my cats and I am very thankful. Will continue to use it.

I’ve been very pleased this past year, considering the cost & benefit of Eva’s policy. Thankfully, we have only needed routine care & prevention. I appreciate the plan’s comprehensive & easy to understand reimbursement & the peace of mind it allows should anything unexpected happen.

The Primary diagnosis is Colitis. He is doing much better with a change of food. His is on a low fat diet.

I was very pleased when we received a payment back from Gaia's surgery. It sure helps to know that you can get reimbursed once you meet the deductible!!

We transferred to Embrace because they offered the basic same coverage as Pet Plan for a cheaper rate including adding wellness visits. Forms downloaded easily, not complicated for vet, and easily faxed. Embrace emailed me acknowledging receipt. In a couple of days, I received notice of approval and that the check is in the mail. Just began with Embrace but I am extremely satisfied.

The first time I needed to utilize this insurance, it literally saved Patrick's life. He broke his leg in a really severe way and without this insurance I wouldn't have been able to afford the $3,000+ surgery he needed to avoid being put down. It takes a while for the claims to get processed, but it is nice to know there are very few things that can happy to Patrick Swayze that I won't get some sort of help with.
