Excellent customer service

I’m so thankful for having pet insurance with ASPCA. My 2 yr old Dog was injured & had to have some expensive surgeries & ASPCA was right there to help me with all the paperwork & even just to call & see how my Dog was doing. The customer service was so good & each call was with compassion & that made me feel like they were part of my extended family.. WE LOVE ALL OF THEM..

Great Insurance Investment

Very easy insurance to sign up with online. The reimbursement process was simple and fast. Just with 1st year immunizations, neuter and preventative heartworm, the investment paid for itself.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is the BEST investment you can make for your pet's health!

I researched pet insurance companies before we adopted Ernie and decided that Nationwide had the best coverage options for Ernie. Personally, I think Ernie has better health insurance than I do, but that's ok. We are fortunate to live in an area with a regionally known dental specialist that recommended Ernie get his teeth cleaned every year as his breed tends to have dental issues at some point. Well, Ernie is now 4 and has had an abscessed tooth, and 2 others pulled (different years) as a result the vet bill was over $700 for cleaning and extractions. With Nationwide, we submitted the claim and after meeting the deductible, we received 90% of the charges back and we now have an "Ernie HSA account" at the local bank. We add change and miscellaneous checks to the account to build up the balance. But thanks to Nationwide, we have a cushion for vet bills and Ernie receives excellent care as most things are covered under his policy. Thank you for providing this fantastic service to our Ernie!

Just Like Human Insurance, they Deny, Deny, Deny.

I have generally been happy with my insurance coverage, except for one big issue. My puppy had two bouts of diarrhea due to eating something he shouldn't and has been branded as having a pre-existing "gastroenteritis" issue. That means that if he stays healthy for 6 months they might reverse this. Right now he is labelled as chronic and nothing digestive-related will be covered. He has had ZERO issues with his stomach since, but when I and my vet have tried to get this reversed they refused. (In fairness, I guess I may have been within the 6 month period), so I am hopeful they will reverse this "Final Decision," but that remains to be seen. I am concerned simply because this is a healthy dog with no health issues, but what if in a year or two he has a stomach problem? That would be unfair! So… the jury is out to see if Nationwide plays fair and reverses my dog as having a chronic stomach issue when he doesn't.

Phenomenal service

Nationwide is wonderful...so timely with processing claims and paying out on the claims. Customer service is incredibly friendly. Would recommend them to anyone with a pet!!!!!

Peace of Mind with Nationwide

This is not my first dog with Nationwide. I started with them when they were VPI. I have been extremely happy with the coverage and speed of reimbursement on claims.
