Now that claims can be submitted with the VitusVet App Nationwide is so much better
Submitting a claim used to be ridiculous. It was a hassle with paper forms, Nationwide always claimed that not enough information was provided. Even my vet struggled to make it work. With the new VitusVet app it's like this service is finally out of the 1990s from a technology perspective. I was honestly considering cancelling the insurance because I hated submitted claims so much. With this improvement, River and I are once again happy customers.

Became expensive
I have insured two little dogs with PetsBest since 2009 and unfortunately we had to discontinue our insurance. It has become so very expensive and the increase was really outrageous compared to what PetsBest has paid out over the years.

Good experience
Paperwork was easy to fill out. Information on what was needed to process claim was there, so I did all that.
Knee surgery was covered and got my money direct deposited into our account.

Easy to work with
Scout had hairballs in his ears! The vet got them squared away. The insurance covered the entire bill. It was easy to work with you.

Peace of Mind
It’s such a blessing and peace of mind to have pet insurance from Nationwide. To know that if an emergence or illness happens, I’ll be able to pay for it and know I’ll get all or almost all of the cost reimbursed is a blessing. I highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance.
