Update claims process and turn-around time
Your service is quite helpful, however multiple products are on the market and competing on price and features for account service. Online secure claims submission, e-signature, claims tracking, and document uploads are all common tools of your competition.
I would say I'm satisfied with your insurance, however the process of accessing it is not competitive with your peers. Printing, hand signing, scanning and emailing documents and attachments is a poor process for 2018. As is waiting multiple weeks without status tracking etc. I imagine many of your claims are routine, however major reimbursements take what seems the same path as minor ones. If I'm waiting for $60 or $1000 reimbursement I'm still in the dark for weeks, while I've fronted you the money at no interest, for families where this is a financial hardship... Your service needs to modernize and prioritize in a way that is transparent to your clients.

Good coverage, but slow
Overall, I have been pleased with the response to claims I have filed. I have noticed that with the last couple of claims though it has taken them quite a while to reimburse for these claims.

Love Nationwide Pet Insurance!
I have been so pleased with my pet insurance experience with Nationwide. Easy submissions and quick turnaround for claims paid. All our items have been for well being checkups, flea medicine and heartworm. Having Nationwide has made vet visits so much less stressful!

Nationwide has been a true blessing to our home and fur baby!
We have two mini-aussies and decided to get pet insurance on a whim because it was offered through my husband's work. We were just assuming it would be a little help with the normal yearly expenses of vaccinations, dental cleanings etc. Who would have thought we would end up with a fur baby with anxiety issues but the coverage has even assisted with that.
