Always wonderful

When I got the insurance i was under the impression I had a total.deductable of 700.oo only to find out it 700.00 each complaint, like vomiting 380.00 Hair loss 200.00+, so it really makes.me wonder is it worth paying monthly for when I have paid over 700.00 so far for care. He is a puppy and a nut so I am not ready to give up on it.bit doesnt feel like it really covers much.

If it was not for Healthy Paws my sweet boy would not be alive. There are a lot of people out there that buy insurance for the peace of mind of knowing they have something to fall back on. This is not us. We got our dog at 8 weeks old. At 9 weeks he had severe medical complications. Since we have had him (he is almost 2 now) we have been at the vet no less than once a month. Typically we are there every other week as we flop back and forth from our family vet, our dermatologist, and our internal medicine doctor. The only bill that was not covered by them was our first ER bill as we were still in the waiting period. We are a family that pays a much higher monthly premium than most. However, that was a decision we made on our own. We chose to pay more per month for a lower deductible and a higher return rate. In fact, one of the main reasons we chose to use Healthy paws was their customization options. I was able to customize the plan exactly how I wanted. We are not a wealthy family so that was incredibly important to me. We shopped around a lot before we even got out dog and trust me, there are a lot of options out there. But not a single one of them comes close the coverage, cost, and customer service of Healthy Paws. Getting Healthy Paws was the best thing we could have ever done and we really do owe our dog’s life to them. If you are debating if this is the right plan for you, it is. I promise you that there is no better company out there.

Our beloved 9-yr old Labradoodle spent three days in the ICU as he recovered from an "Addisonian crisis." He was diagnosed with Addison's Disease just two weeks before Christmas. Luckily for us, our Healthy Paws plan covered almost all of the expenses associated with his ICU stay and follow-up care. With so many things happening during the holidays, and a very sick dog, it was such a relief to experience such an easy and efficient claims process. We didn't have to worry about waiting for weeks for our claims to be processed or spend extra time explaining his illness and care plans. Each claim was processed within days. HealthyPaws staff reached out to check on us and our dog. That was a very nice touch! We so appreciate HealthyPaws helping us through this stressful time and get our four-legged family member back to good health!

She answered all of my questions, there was zero “used car salesman” type pressure, etc. Plus, the quote I got was far better than other companies for the same or even slightly less coverage. This company is great.
