This was overall a really positive experience. Called the customer service hotline two separate times to discuss whether the insurance would cover the operation. Both ladies were extremely friendly, and while I understood the policy is not to say "yes its covered" on the phone, they were very knowledgeable. The only issue I had with this experience is that your claim submission website was down for three days... I ultimately had to download the Vitusvet app to submit my claim. Which I only learned of from calling your customer service hotline (once again amazing). Was frustrating given that I had to pay out of pocket for the operation and needed to get a refund as soon as possible to cover other expenses.

Excellent service with Nationwide Pet insurance! Very easy to submit claims. During the initial sign up process, the rep we dealt with, was very helpful and was able to guide us in the right direction with choosing the right plan for our dog. Keep up the great job!!!

Everything has been working well to this point.

You don't expect a puppy to get sick, but when he did, I was so thankful we had this pet Insurance! Nationwide made the process fairly easy and checks were sent to us in a reasonable time frame. Very happy with this Insurance!

Trupanion is the best thing I have done for our family. With a terrible diagnosis for our dog the vet felt he had a good shot if we could treat him. Trupanion has allowed us to save his life. I am so thankful for this coverage!

In an emergency such as this claim, Nationwide is certainly worth the premium. What is confusing is the following scenario: I take Ruby religiously for her yearly checkup, in other words , a wellness and maintenance checkup. Virtually, nothing is covered even though I make a good effort to ensure the well being of Ruby. This is frustrating with Nationwide.
