Fast and accurate reimbursement!

We decided to get the pet insurance when we got our new puppy, through my employer. It has been the best thing we did, due to a few puppy insidence. Nationwide is prompt and easy to file claims and receiver reimbursement. We are very happy we made the discision.

Buying pet insurance was the best decision I made, specifically my puppy who had ingested a foreign object which required a $5,000.00 surgery to save his life. I would never have been able to afford that type of expense. So this ultimately can made some people have to not be able to save their pet's life because they cannot afford the enormous vet bills for surgery. I would never go without pet insurance ever again. That one instance sold me forever!

My Yorkiepoo has been to the vet a lot! Swallowed a lego, baby teeth wouldn’t fall out, excessive vomiting...all covered! Then, he developed a luxating patella after a fall and the procedure was $1500. I was told he could “live” with it or have surgery. I wanted my playful dog back so opted for the surgery, not knowing how much or if procedure was covered. Imagine my shock when I was notified my claim was complete and I was getting 90% covered! It is very easy to submit a claim through the app and the processing time has never been more than a month. It has paid for itself and I will definitely keep renewing!

Our puppy had a bladder stone within a week of us getting him. Luckily we had signed up for Trupanion! They were very friendly, it was easy to submit the claim and it was processed quickly!

Customer service is excellent. They take the time to explain things. The are patient and show sympathy for their clients. When I file for claims I get a quick response. Also when a claim is in our favor, the funds are distributed promptly within 2 days.
