It took a bit of time but I was informed during the entire process that the first claim always take a bit longer, so I wasn't surprised or worried when I didn't hear back right away. The day she went in for surgery she also got her monthly allergy shot (which is a pre-existing condition for her) and a vaccine she was due for, and they were able to suss out those line items in the bill with ease and only count the surgery. The whole process was simple on my end and let me know that if her tumor hadn t been benign then it would be a quick and easy process to get her treatment covered. Puts your mind at ease.

I am disappointed about the denial of claims that should have been covered.

I've been extremely pleased with the way NationWide follows thru with insurance refunds. This insurance has enabled us to take better care of Grant because we would not be able to afford all the treatments that he's needed. As a puppy, Grant ate everything, including needles and pins. Thankfully, NationWide covered his surgery and he is doing great now. He was the Puppy of the Month this December at our Vets office because he is so Sweet and loving. Thanks to you for letting us take good care of him.

This is the first time I have had pet insurance and I was pleasantly surprised by the ease and the quick response. I purchased the wellness pack knowing our puppy who just turned a year had his annual vaccinations coming due as well we needed to get him neutered. We did everything in one visit, snapped a pic of the invoice to submit with the online claim and in a couple days I received notice that the claim had been paid [direct deposit to my bank account] along with an explanation of what was paid.
